The morning includes a walking tour of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo and time to see the castle ruins. Back on the ship by afternoon, you'll have a relaxed time while sailing toward Pinhão, where the ship will dock for the night.

Pinhão to Régua
Start with a visit to Pinhão Railway Station, which features 19th-century tiles on its walls that show the history of port production. You'll also stop at a local quinta before the ship cruises through the Douro Valley with its terraced vineyards and hillsides, arriving in Régua by day's end.

Régua
You have choices for this full day in Régua. Either explore the town of Lamego to see the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies and try the local pastry called Bola de Lamego, or visit the Palácio de Mateus, an 18th-century palace near Vila Real. Everyone gathers for lunch at Quinta da Pacheca with views across the Douro River.
