Start your journey by heading to Córdoba with your tour group. This UNESCO World Heritage city has winding streets and historic buildings that you'll explore, including the Mezquita (Great Mosque of Córdoba), which is really something to see. Later in the day, you'll have an included dinner with everyone in your group.

Córdoba to Seville
Leave Córdoba and travel to Seville, the capital of Southern Spain. A guided tour takes you through the city where you'll see the river Guadalquivir, Mudéjar palaces, and grand aristocratic mansions. Save some energy for an optional dinner later on if you're interested.

Seville
This is your free day in Seville. Wander through Barrio Santa Cruz at your own pace and check out the Alcazar, which you might recognize from Game of Thrones. The medieval lanes here are worth getting lost in for a bit, and there's plenty to see on your own schedule.

Seville to The Algarve
Head west across the border from Spain into Portugal, traveling toward the Algarve. Once you reach the hotel, drop off your bags and then join the group to find some good dinner spots for your first evening in Portugal. The streets here have a colorful feel to them.

The Algarve
Grab breakfast, then the beach is yours for the entire day. Spend time swimming, relaxing, reading, or trying fresh seafood at one of the local spots. Later, wander through the colorful streets and find your own dinner option in the evening.

The Algarve - Sintra - Cascais to Lisbon
Head north by coach, stopping first in Sintra to visit the Quinta da Regaleira manor house, a UNESCO World Heritage town. After that, you can explore the coastal town of Cascais or join a street art tour as a local experience. By evening, you'll settle into Lisbon and grab dinner at a side street café.

Lisbon
You have a free day to explore Lisbon. Check out Cristo Rei (Christ the King statue), Rossio Square, and the Belém District with its famous tower. The monastery here holds Vasco da Gama's tomb and has a Moorish atmosphere worth experiencing.

Lisbon to Porto via Quinta do Sanguinhal Vineyard
Travel north along Portugal's coastline toward Porto. On the way, stop at a 19th century vineyard where you'll learn the process of tasting and evaluating local wine. Once you arrive in Porto, you'll find it's a city for art lovers and foodies with galleries, coffee shops, and excellent food culture. The evening is free to explore on your own.

Porto
Spend the day exploring Porto however you'd like. Ride the old wooden tram in Ribeira, walk along the picturesque coastline, and see major sites including the São Francisco Church, Porto Cathedral, and the Palácio da Bolsa from the 19th century. Join an optional food tour or catch a traditional Portuguese singing show if that interests you.

Porto to Salamanca via Ciudad Rodrigo
Leave Porto and head back to Spain, stopping in Ciudad Rodrigo, a fortified city on the border with history dating back to Roman times. Continue on to Salamanca, where you'll see the 13th century University, mysterious futuristic characters, and a painted indoor sky fresco inside. Houses here are decorated with carved stone shells. An optional orientation tour covers the women who shaped the city's history, then find your own dinner with cheeses, cured meats, wine, and sweet almond cookies.

Marrakesh to Casablanca
Go on a sightseeing tour of Marrakesh to see the Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa El-Fna square, and Bahia Palace (extra cost for tickets). Then travel to Casablanca and wander the cornice for coastal views. The city has that famous Hollywood legend atmosphere about it.

Fes to Erfoud
Drive into the High Atlas Mountains, North Africa's highest mountain range, heading toward Erfoud in the Sahara Desert. Stop in Ifrane and Midelt, towns between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains with nice views of the peaks. Later, settle in Erfoud, an oasis town in the Sahara Desert, and have dinner.

Erfoud to Merzouga
Leave Erfoud and stop for a home visit to experience local Berber hospitality and Moroccan mint tea. Continue to Rissani for lunch and an optional swim. The Barber Music Center has optional local culture experiences. In the evening, swap the coach for camels and trek into the Sahara Desert to watch the sunset, followed by a traditional Berber feast inside a tent where you'll sleep for the night.
