Arrival in Ylläs
You arrive in the Yllä region and settle into your accommodation surrounded by Lapland's snowy landscape. The drive through snow-covered forests gets you oriented to the area, and you'll have time to take in the scenery before keeping an eye out for the northern lights later.

Skiing at Ylläs
After waking to Lapland's snowy expanse, you head out to Yllä, one of Finland's largest ski resorts. Equipment rental is available locally, and you'll find ski lifts, downhill slopes, and cross-country trails right near your accommodation. Spend the day on the snow doing whatever appeals to you most.

Husky Safari
Today brings a husky safari experience. You'll meet the sled dogs and learn from a local guide about their lives and training. Once you're settled into the sledge, the huskies take you across the snowy wilderness. After the ride, you get time with the friendly dogs and hear stories about what sled dog life involves.

Free Day in Lapland
This day is yours to shape. Take a peaceful walk through the snowy landscape and listen to your footsteps crunching in the snow, watching how sunlight plays across the white expanse. Consider heading to a sauna to warm up afterward, then settle in for the evening to watch the night sky for northern lights.

Free Day in Winter Wonderland
Another free day to enjoy Lapland however you like. Start with a warm cup of tea, then venture out when the mood strikes. You could build a snowman, have a snowball fight, or simply wander around and take in the snowy landscape. The possibilities stretch as far as the white wilderness around you.

Northern Lights Viewing
Sleep in if you want since the main event happens after dark. As evening arrives, you'll find your viewing spot with a warm cup of hot cocoa and watch for the Aurora Borealis. The natural light show paints the sky in bright green and creates one of those moments you'll remember for years.
Landmarks Ylläs - Day 7
Departure
Your time in Finland's north comes to a close. You say goodbye to the snow-covered forests and head home, carrying memories and photos from your Lapland adventure. The experience of the winter landscape and northern lights stays with you as you depart.
