Lima
Your day in Lima starts at a local market where you'll see vendors selling fresh produce, fish, and regional specialties. After wandering through the stalls and picking up snacks, head to Chinatown to check out the historic gates and narrow streets filled with shops and restaurants. From there, make your way to the center of Lima where colonial architecture and plazas give you a sense of the city's past. Your guide points out significant buildings and shares stories about Lima's history. Later in the afternoon, head to Barranco, the bohemian district where street art covers the walls and local cafes line the streets. You can grab lunch or coffee here and walk around, soaking in the creative vibe of the neighborhood before the day wraps up.
