Kruje - Tirana
Today you're heading to Kruje, a medieval mountain town where you'll check out the fortress and National History Museum to learn about Skanderbeg. After wandering through the cobblestone bazaar, you'll head back to Tirana for a walking tour of the city center, including the Blloku district and House of Leaves. You'll have free time later to explore on your own.

- Day 3
Tirana to Berat
You'll travel to Berat, known as the 'Town of 1001 Windows' and a UNESCO World Heritage site. From there, you can explore the castle sitting 260m above the town with great views, then visit Byzantine churches and the Ofruni museum for Byzantine art. The day wraps up with wine tasting and dinner at a local winery.

Berat to Gjirokastra to Saranda
Heading through Albania's mountains to Gjirokastra, another UNESCO city with its distinctive tower-like stone houses. You'll explore the castle overlooking the city and the National Museum of Weapons, followed by the Ethnographic Museum. From there, you'll continue to the coastal city of Saranda with time to check things out.

Saranda
Today brings you to Butrint, an ancient archaeological site where you can walk through the Old Amphitheatre, Temple of Aesculapius, and see the colorful Byzantine mosaics in the Baptistery. Back in Saranda, you'll walk the main pedestrian road and see the Synagogue-Basilica ruins, then head up to Castle of Lekurs for panoramic views over Saranda and Corfu. Dinner tonight includes traditional folk music.

Saranda to Vlore
You'll travel north along the Albanian Riviera, passing through villages like Lukova, Borsh, and Qeparo Dhermi. There's a stop at Porto Palermo to visit the Castle of Ali Pasha, then you'll continue to Vlore, one of Albania's most beautiful coastal cities. You'll see a panoramic tour with Independence Square, and then have a free afternoon and evening to explore the promenade.

Vlore to Apollonia to Durres
You're visiting Apollonia, an archaeological site with the Odeon, Monument of Agonothetes, Mosaics House, and the Byzantine church of Saint Mary and its monastery courtyard plus museum. After that, you'll travel along the Adriatic Coast to Durres to see the massive Amphitheatre, the largest in the Balkan Peninsula, with its rare 2nd-century mosaic walls and the 16th-century Venetian tower. The evening ends with a farewell dinner with the other guests.
