Itinerary
- Day 1
Tangier
You'll arrive at Tangier Airport or the port where someone will meet you for the transfer to your hotel. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is open for you to get acclimated and wander around at your own pace.

Tangier to Casablanca
After breakfast you'll board the Al Boraq high-speed train heading to Casablanca. The journey takes about 2 hours at speeds up to 300 km/h, and your guide travels with you the whole way. You'll have the afternoon free in Casablanca to relax or explore on your own.

- Day 3
Casablanca to Marrakech
Following breakfast you'll travel to Marrakech to meet the rest of your group. There you'll get a guided walk through the rose-coloured medina with its winding streets, green gardens, and busy souks. You'll see Djemaa El Fna marketplace at the heart of the medina and visit the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the city's tallest building.

Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou to Ouarzazate
Early morning starts with heading out across the Haouz plains and climbing through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass, with lunch included along the way. From there you'll continue with views of mountains and valleys down to the ancient fortified Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a medieval city you've seen in films like Gladiator. Later you'll drive south to Ouarzazate, known as the 'Hollywood of North Africa' for its movie filming locations.

- Day 5
Ouarzazate to Merzouga (Sahara)
Your Sahara journey begins by passing through palm trees, rose fields, and dramatic gorges. You might stop at the Kasbah Amherdhil in Skoura before reaching the Todra Gorge with its striking 1000-foot limestone cliffs. After exploring the gorge you'll continue to Merzouga. In the afternoon you can swim and relax before mounting camels for a trek into the desert to catch the sunset and sleep at a remote Berber camp with local food and music.

Merzouga to Fes
An early camel ride gets you to a sunrise viewing, then you'll freshen up and have breakfast in Merzouga. The drive back toward Fes takes you through cedar forests where Barbary Macaque monkeys live in the Moyen Atlas mountains. You'll stop in Ifrane, a nice town that reminds people of a Swiss Alpine resort, where you might spot nomadic Berbers crossing the mountains. You'll reach Fes by early evening.

- Day 7
Fes
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. This morning brings a guided tour through Fes el Bali, the old walled city with its complex maze of 9,400 alleys and many dead ends, so you'll stay with your group. You'll see the dye-pits and tanneries before having lunch in the medina. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.

Fes to Volubilis to Meknes to Rabat
Leaving Fes this morning you'll visit the UNESCO-listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, which date back to AD 40. Then you'll go to Meknes, the Imperial City known as the 'Versailles of Morocco' for its impressive architecture and monuments. After lunch and some free time, you'll head to your final stop in Rabat, Morocco's capital, where you'll stay the night.

Rabat to Casablanca
A guided tour of Rabat shows you highlights like the Chellah, a necropolis with ancient and medieval ruins, the Royal Palace, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After lunch you'll continue to Casablanca to see the Hassan II Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and ranks as the world's third largest mosque with space for 25,000 worshippers. You'll check into your hotel in Casablanca as other passengers continue onward.
