Madrid
You'll land in Madrid and have the morning free to wander around at your own pace. In the afternoon, there's a panoramic city tour that takes you through the Royal Palace, past the Cibeles Fountain, and by the Paseo del Prado museums. The tour wraps up at Plaza Mayor where you can spend your evening.

Madrid
This is your day to explore Madrid however you'd like. If you're interested, there's an optional guided excursion available to Toledo, the historic city just outside Madrid, but it's completely up to you how you spend your time.

Madrid to Bilbao
You'll drive through the mountain landscapes of Castile heading toward Segovia. There you'll see the Alcazar castle from Mirador de la Pradera de San Marcos and walk through the old town to check out the Roman Aqueduct. After Segovia, you'll stop in Pedraza, a medieval village, then continue on to Bilbao in the Basque Country where you'll arrive for the evening.

- Day 4
Bilbao to San Sebastian
After breakfast, you'll have a guided tour of Bilbao showing you the striking Guggenheim Museum, the old medieval center, and the lively streets. Following lunch and some free time, you'll head to Guernica to see the Tree of Gernika. Later you'll reach the coastal town of Hondarribia and finish the day in San Sebastian, where your hotel sits atop Mount Igueldo.

San Sebastian to Bordeaux
Start your morning with views of San Sebastian Bay from Mount Igueldo, then visit Miramar Palace and its gardens. You'll have free time to spend on the beach or walking the boulevards. Before heading out, you'll try a traditional Basque pintxo with a drink. Later you'll travel to Bordeaux, arriving by evening.

Bordeaux to Lourdes
In Bordeaux, you'll walk through the World Heritage city center including the Water Mirror and historic old town with its pedestrian streets and 11th-century cathedral. Free time along the Garonne River banks gives you a chance to grab lunch and just relax. If you're interested, there's the Cité du Vin wine museum you can visit. Later you'll head to Lourdes in the Pyrenees, arriving mid-afternoon with time to visit the sanctuary.

Lourdes to Andorra
You'll travel through southern France starting with Carcassonne and its medieval walls and historic district. From there you'll go through Foix with its medieval castle, then through the Pyrenees mountains. You'll stop to see Sant Joan de Caselles Romanesque church before arriving in Andorra la Vella where you can explore the capital's shops or visit Caldea thermal spa.

The morning is yours to spend shopping or walking around Andorra. After lunch, you'll head to Catalonia to see Santa Maria de Montserrat abbey. A scenic rack train takes you up the mountain to explore the sanctuary, then you'll continue to Barcelona, arriving in the late afternoon.

You'll travel south along the Mediterranean coast, stopping in Peniscola, a charming walled town, for a stroll. Continuing to Valencia, you'll arrive around lunchtime and try the famous paella. You'll visit the City of Arts and Sciences before departing around 4:30 p.m. back to Madrid, arriving between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.
