- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll land at Noi Bai Airport where your driver and guide will be waiting. They'll transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi's city center. After checking in, you can settle in and get your bearings before the main activities begin.

- Day 2
Hanoi City Tour to Sapa
Start your morning at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and stilt house. From there, head to the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature to get a sense of Vietnam's history. The Ethnology Museum comes next and covers the country's cultural diversity. After lunch, you'll have some quiet time at Hoan Kiem Lake, then take a cyclo through the Old Quarter. Later you'll head to the train station for your overnight journey to Sapa, departing around 9:00 or 10:00 PM.

Ta Phin Village Tour
Your train arrives in Lao Cai around 6:00 AM. After a 45-minute drive to Sapa, you'll freshen up and grab breakfast. The rest of the day focuses on Ta Phin Village, where you'll see how the Black Hmong and Red Dao ethnic groups live. You'll visit their homes and wander through Hmong hamlets with valley views. Red Dao women will show you their handmade embroidered items and handbags. By evening you'll head back to Sapa for the night.

Landmarks Ta Phin Village - Day 4
Sapa Trek to Cat Cat and Y Linh Ho Village
At 9:00 AM you'll start a half-day trek through rice terraces. The route takes you downhill to Cat Cat Village, where you'll rest near a waterfall and old hydroelectric station. Then it's through dirt trails with lush terraced fields and rainforest under Hoang Lien National Park. You'll reach Y Linh Ho Village to observe Black Hmong daily life before climbing back to meet your vehicle. After returning to Sapa, you'll transfer to the train station for your overnight journey back to Hanoi.

Ninh Binh Full-Day Adventure
After picking you up from the train station, you'll check into a mini hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Then it's a drive to Ninh Binh, Vietnam's ancient capital. You'll take a boat through Tam Coc with its limestone karsts and rice paddies. In the afternoon, check out the historic Hoa Lu Ancient Capital with its temples honoring King Dinh and King Le. If you're up for it, climb 500 stone steps up Mua Cave for views of Tam Coc, the Ngo Dong River, and the surrounding countryside.

Ninh Binh to Ha Long Bay
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive 3 hours to Ha Long City with comfort stops along the way. Once there, you'll board a wooden sailing junk to explore Ha Long Bay, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch is fresh seafood prepared onboard. You'll have time to swim in the water and explore limestone caves. The evening wraps up with dinner on the junk near a remote island.

Wake early and take a swim as the sun rises over Ha Long Bay. You'll enjoy a full breakfast onboard, then spend the morning exploring quieter parts of the bay. Around midday you'll head back to the main harbor, disembark, and start your 3-hour drive back to Hanoi.

Hanoi to Bangkok
You'll have some relaxation time at your Hanoi hotel before your driver picks you up to head to Noi Bai Airport. Your flight to Bangkok departs, and once you land, you'll be met and transferred to your Bangkok hotel. Check in and spend the evening unwinding before exploring the city.

- Day 9
Bangkok Temple Tour
After breakfast, head to the Grand Royal Palace, the ceremonial center for Thailand's royal family. Inside the complex, you'll see Wat Phra Kaew and the Emerald Buddha statue. Next is Wat Pho with its enormous reclining Buddha, followed by Wat Traimit where a solid gold Buddha statue stands. Then visit Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, which sits along the river with intricate architectural details. You'll have free time to relax once you return to your hotel.

- Day 10
Bangkok Markets and Jim Thompson House
Start early driving southwest of Bangkok to the Maeklong railway market. You'll take photos and try local snacks before heading to Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. A long-tailed boat takes you through the waterway to explore it. Back in Bangkok, you'll visit Jim Thompson House in the city center. The guide will explain how the American businessman brought Thai silk to the world and the mystery of his 1967 disappearance in the Malaysian jungle. You'll also see his traditional teak home and his art collection from 25 years in Thailand.
