Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Leave Marrakech early and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n'Tichka pass with views of the surrounding peaks. You'll stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site with traditional clay kasbahs that has been used as a filming location for numerous movies. From there, head to Ouarzazate to see the film studios and explore Kasbah Taourirt, which gives you a sense of how the local nobility once lived. Check into your riad or hotel for the night.

Ouarzazate to M'Hamid El Ghizlane
Start the morning driving through the Draa Valley, where you'll see palm groves and small traditional villages along the way. Stop briefly in Zagora, then continue to M'Hamid El Ghizlane where your camel trek into the Sahara begins. Ride out into the dunes as the afternoon light changes, and settle into a desert camp for the night under clear skies away from city lights.

Landmarks/POIs Draa Valley Zagora Erg Chigaga  - Day 3
Sahara Desert and Erg Chigaga
After breakfast at the desert camp, spend the day exploring the Erg Chigaga dunes with a 4x4 adventure through the sand dunes and rocky terrain. You'll ride across the expansive desert landscape and experience the scale of the Sahara up close. Later, head back toward Zagora, driving through the Draa Valley again and arriving at your guesthouse or hotel by evening.

Zagora to Marrakech
Begin the return journey to Marrakech in the morning, retracing your route through Ouarzazate and then crossing back over the High Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch at a roadside restaurant or café during the drive. You'll arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon or early evening, concluding your tour through the Atlas and Sahara.
