Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive at Delhi Airport and get transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is yours to wander around the capital at your own pace. By 6 pm, there's a welcome meeting where you'll meet your leader and other travelers. After that, you'll have dinner at one of Delhi's oldest restaurants, a place that brought fine dining to India back in the 1940s.

Delhi to Agra
You'll drive to Agra and check into your hotel. In the late afternoon, a local guide takes you to see the Taj Mahal at sunset, walking you through its history as a 17th-century tomb built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Later that evening, you'll join a street food tour led by a local expert who'll show you Agra's food scene beyond the main tourist areas.

- Day 3
Agra to Ranthambore
Start your morning at Agra Fort, the red sandstone fortress built in 1565 and later turned into a palace. You'll walk through courtyards and buildings exploring the architecture. After that, you'll head to Ranthambore where you can relax by the pool, take a walk around town, or grab a meal at the resort.

Landmarks Agra Fort - Day 4
Ranthambore
You'll wake early for a morning safari through Ranthambore National Park in 4WD vehicles, searching for tigers and other wildlife like gazelle, hyenas, sloth bears, crocodiles, jackals, and leopards. The afternoon gives you downtime at the resort, then an evening safari takes you back out into the park. If you're interested, you can also visit the 1000-year-old Ranthambore Fort with its old pavilions.

Ranthambore to Jaipur
You'll travel to Jaipur and check into Hotel Narain Niwas Palace, a heritage property with chandeliers, stained glass, peacocks, and a pool. After settling in, your leader takes you on a walking tour through the busy streets and bazaars where vendors sell handcrafted textiles, folk art, and semi-precious stones. The day ends with a home-cooked dinner at a local family's home.

- Day 6
Jaipur
You'll start at Amber Fort, exploring ornate rooms and murals while learning about the city's history. Then you'll stop at the Hawa Mahal, one of India's most photographed buildings. Next comes the City Palace, which blends Rajput and Mughal design. In the afternoon, you'll hop on a rickshaw to a royal haveli where you'll meet the owner and see family photos. You'll finish with rooftop drinks overlooking the old walled city.

Jaipur to Varanasi
You'll leave Jaipur, fly to Varanasi, and head to Sarnath where Buddha preached enlightenment. You'll explore the stupas and museums at this important Buddhist pilgrimage site. From there, you'll continue into Varanasi itself, a city full of shrines and temples where Hindu pilgrims come for spiritual experiences.

Varanasi
You'll start before sunrise with a boat ride on the Ganges while your leader talks about its spiritual meaning as you pass temples and ghats. Later, a walking tour takes you through narrow Old City lanes packed with shops, past dhobi wallahs and temples. At sunset, you'll return to the Ganges for a cruise with local musicians playing during a flower and candle ceremony, watching pilgrims perform bathing rituals as the sun goes down.

Landmarks Ganges River - Day 9
Varanasi to Delhi
You'll fly back to Delhi in the morning. In the afternoon, you and your leader will use the metro to reach Old Delhi, then navigate the bustling lanes around Chandni Chowk marketplace by traditional rickshaw. You'll visit the Jama Masjid, India's oldest and largest mosque, and the Sheeshganj Gurudwara Sikh temple. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore on your own. Your final group dinner takes place in a haveli from 1887 featuring Mughlai cuisine, street food, and kebabs.
