Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and get settled into your hotel. Once you're checked in, head out to explore Thamel district on foot - it's the main area where trekkers hang out, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and local energy. If you've got the time and interest, there's an optional day tour available that covers historical sites like Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa, so you can see some of the city's important landmarks before your trek begins.

Bethanchowk Narayanthan Hike
Leave Kathmandu early in the morning by private vehicle heading to Dhungkharka, which takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. After you grab breakfast at a local teahouse, you'll hike up to Bethanchowk Narayanthan summit at 2200 meters, where you get panoramic views of the Himalayan range including Langtang, Manaslu, and on clear days, glimpses of Everest. You'll stop at Narayanthan Temple and have a packed lunch at the summit, then make your way back down and return to Kathmandu by evening.
