Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo - Giza Pyramids
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:00 am, so you'll want to grab breakfast beforehand. From there, head out to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, which are the main draw of the morning. You'll also check out the Valley Temple and the Sphinx while you're in that area. Around midday, transition over to the Egyptian Museum where there are over 250,000 artifacts on display, including pieces from Tutankhamon's tomb that really show what you're looking at historically. Later in the afternoon, you'll walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar to get a feel for the local market scene and maybe pick up some souvenirs. The driver brings you back to your hotel by evening, so it's a full but manageable day hitting all the major sites.
