Arrival

- Day 2
Istanbul
Start with a full city sightseeing tour hitting the Süleymaniye Mosque, ancient walls, Golden Horn, and the fishing district before seeing Hagia Sophia from outside. Your Topkapi Palace tickets are included, so you'll walk through its courtyards and pavilions. The afternoon is free to wander around on your own before heading to Taksim district where you can grab dinner at local restaurants or check out Galata Tower.

- Day 3
Istanbul
You'll board a private boat for a two hour trip on the Bosphorus, an experience just for Europamundo travelers. The journey takes you through the strait between the Black Sea and Sea of Marmara, under the two bridges connecting Europe and Asia, and past Sultan's palaces and Ottoman architecture. After you return to central Istanbul, the rest of the day is yours to explore however you like.

- Day 4
Istanbul to Kusadasi
You'll leave Istanbul early and drive through Turkey, arriving around lunch at Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient cities around. Your tickets cover entry to the Basilica of St. John, House of the Virgin Mary, and the archaeological site. Later you'll head to Kusadasi, a lively coastal town with a castle, and stay overnight with dinner included.

Starting early, you'll visit Lake Bafa, a natural lake in Turkey, then continue to Bodrum, a fortified city with Greek roots where you can see its castle, walk through lively streets, or check out the marina. After lunch, the drive takes you to Marmaris, another coastal spot known for its castle, pier, and fountains. You'll stay the night there with dinner included.

- Day 6
Marmaris to Rhodes
You'll depart early and take an express ferry to Rhodes, about one hour with standard border procedures. Once there, you'll tour the walled city and historic quarter, which layers in Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of St. John, Ottoman, and Italian influences. From there you have free time in the afternoon to explore Rhodes on your own.

- Day 7
Rhodes to Athens
You'll leave Rhodes city for an included excursion around the island. The morning takes you to Filerimos monastery on a hilltop with great views, then to Lindos where you can explore its fortress and Acropolis overlooking the sea. Walk through the whitewashed streets, relax on beaches, or take a traditional donkey ride to the Acropolis if you want. Later you'll head back to Rhodes port and catch a ferry to Athens.

Athens to Patras
You'll arrive in Athens-Piraeus at 7:00 a.m. and head to the Peloponnese with a quick stop at Corinth Canal. From there you drive through the mountains to Tripoli, the capital of Arcadia, where you can walk around Aeros Square and grab coffee at the cafes. Your tickets are included for Olympia's Archaeological Site where a local guide shows you the Temple of Zeus, Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. Later you'll reach Patras, Greece's third largest city with a medieval fortress and massive cathedral, staying overnight with dinner.

After breakfast you'll cross the Rio-Antirrio cable-stayed bridge connecting the Peloponnese to the mainland. You'll stop at Nafpaktos on the Gulf of Corinth to see its Venetian fortress and harbor, then continue to Mycenae, an 18th century BC citadel considered the birthplace of European civilization with admission included. You have free time for lunch and exploring before visiting the Fortress of Acrocorinth with tickets included, where ancient temple remains sit at the settlement's highest point. Another brief stop at Corinth Canal follows before you reach Athens in the evening.
