Lisbon to Madrid

From there, you'll continue to Caceres in Spain for lunch and explore the well-preserved medieval and Renaissance center. Later, you'll head to Madrid, arriving in the evening near Plaza Mayor.

Madrid

You'll arrive in Chambery, the medieval capital of Savoy, by evening.

This morning you'll join a three-hour guided tour combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo.
