The be my guest dinner at another family owned vineyard was great. The food was delicious and again plenty of wine. The experience shopping and cooking with the chef near Florence was amazing. They had us make ravioli, salad and an appetizer. The wine tasting was delicious and they had unique sparkling wines. Luckily we did do all the cooking. The food was fantastic and the assortment was amazing. The best part of the trip were the people and these events. The scenery was beautiful, the cities and town architecture was great. Plenty of time on the bus but this trips offers a chance to stay behind if you like. The weather was hot and sunny I wish I booked in Sept to November but really enjoyed the trip. He was very well versed on history and customs and knew the cities well, giving us a complete picture of past and present life in Italy. Asked on February 10th, 2025I will be 81 and my husband will be 85. We are looking to go to Tuscany in early September. Would like to be in a small tour group. Do you have such a thing as of group of about 20 people or less? Or can you recommend another agency?
TrafalgarOperator•Written February 2025We do not offer small group tours with a maximum of 20 people. However, we recommend our sister brand, Insight Vacations. They offer a tour called Country Roads of Umbria & Tuscany, which is a 9-day guided tour. While there isn't a September departure available, we do have a small group departure on August 17, 2025. Insight Vacations' small group tours can accommodate up to 24 guests.
