Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and have the afternoon free to explore at your own pace. This evening you'll meet your Travel Director and the group for dinner. Before that, there's an orientation drive that takes you past some of Rome's iconic sites, including the Circus Maximus where chariot races once drew huge crowds.

Rome to Montecatini
A Local Specialist leads your guided tour starting with St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, then you'll head into Ancient Rome to see the Colosseum and Circus Maximus. In the afternoon, you'll drive through the scenic Tuscan hills to reach Montecatini, Italy's largest spa town, where you'll stay for the next six nights. There's an optional regional restaurant experience available if you'd like dinner among pines and cypress trees with local food and entertainment.

Florence
You'll take a walking tour of Florence with a Local Specialist who shares Renaissance history. The tour includes the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. After that, you have free time to wander across Ponte Vecchio with its jewelry shops from the 16th century, or you can join an optional experience about Michelangelo and his David sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts.

Montecatini
This day is yours to relax in Montecatini's spa atmosphere and just unwind. If you prefer something more active, there's an optional excursion to Cinque Terre where you can explore the pastel-colored villages perched on the rugged Ligurian cliffs.

 - Day 5
Vinci
You'll travel to Pisa and see the Leaning Tower, the marble Cathedral, and the ornate Baptistery with a Local Specialist. Then you'll continue through Tuscany to Vinci to visit the Museo Leonardiano, exploring Leonardo da Vinci's life, machines, models, and sketches through interactive exhibits. Tonight you'll have dinner at Agriturismo Borgo Vigna Vecchia, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves as a Be My Guest experience.

San Gimignano
You'll walk through the well-preserved medieval city of Siena to see the 13th-century marble cathedral and the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, famous for the biannual Palio horse race. From there, you'll head to San Gimignano, a walled medieval town known for its towers. You'll have free time to wander the narrow lanes, check out the countryside views, and shop for local foods like pecorino cheese and cured meats.

You'll visit a traditional food market and work with a Local Specialist chef to learn Tuscan cooking. You'll select fresh produce from the market and prepare lunch the way Italian families do, then enjoy your meal with regional wine. Later you'll head back to your hotel in the Tuscan hills.
