- Day 1
Arrival in Beijing
Your guide meets you outside customs at Beijing airport and takes you to your hotel by car. Settle in and relax after your flight, then spend the rest of the day getting oriented at your own pace.

Beijing
Start at Tiananmen Square before heading into the Forbidden City with your guide. You'll have an a la carte lunch with authentic Chinese dishes, then move on to the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Later, catch an acrobatic performance at the Red Theater.

Beijing
Take a cable car roundtrip up to Mutianyu Great Wall and spend time climbing around the sections you want to explore. On your way back, stop for photos at the Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium. The afternoon brings a rickshaw tour through old Beijing hutongs, where you'll see traditional courtyards and possibly visit a local family home.

Beijing to Shanghai
Check out the Summer Palace in the morning, then head to the train station for your high-speed trip to Shanghai. After you arrive, your driver and guide transfer you to your hotel.

- Day 5
Shanghai
After breakfast, walk through the Shanghai Museum and Yu Garden. From there, spend time exploring Yuyuan Old Street, where traditional buildings now house shops with local products, arts, crafts, and antiques. Later, take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River in the Bund area, and your guide will walk you back to the hotel.
