Marrakech
You'll arrive in Marrakech and get picked up from the airport or your accommodation. If your flight comes in early, there's time for a relaxed drive through the palm-lined avenues before heading to the Menara Gardens. After that, you'll check into your hotel or riad and settle in for the evening.

Marrakech
This morning you'll explore Marrakech's iconic landmarks with a local guide who knows the city well. From there, you'll wander through the bustling medina souks before ending your morning at Majorelle Garden.

By afternoon you'll arrive in Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara, giving you time to relax and feel the desert breeze in the evening.

Zagora to M'Hamid
You're heading deeper into the desert toward M'Hamid, the last town before the dunes begin. The drive follows the Draa Valley, where you'll see palm groves and centuries-old kasbahs along the way. Once you arrive, you can either relax or take a short walk around the nearby dunes if you'd like.

M'Hamid to Boumalne Dades
You'll leave the Sahara behind and cross remote landscapes filled with kasbahs and oases. You'll pass through Tamegroute, which is known for its pottery, then N'Kob. Later in the day you'll start climbing toward the rocky gorges of Boumalne Dades.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Today you're heading toward the Erg Chebbi dunes. You'll stop at Todra Gorge to see the dramatic rock formations, then continue through Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and Saharan character. You should reach Merzouga by afternoon and transfer to your camp or hotel.

Merzouga to Ouarzazate
You'll start with a desert sunrise and breakfast at your camp. After that, you're traveling westward through Morocco's striking landscapes, passing through Rissani with its traditional market and the dramatic Todra Gorge. Later you'll continue through Alnif and Tazzarine before reaching the palm-filled Draa Valley. You should arrive in Ouarzazate by late afternoon (often called Morocco's 'Hollywood' because of its film studios).

Ouarzazate to Agafay Desert
After breakfast, you'll visit one of Ouarzazate's famous film studios for a short morning tour. Then you'll head to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and architectural treasure of southern Morocco. You'll grab lunch, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. By afternoon you'll reach the rocky Agafay Desert near Marrakech and settle into your luxury desert camp. Dinner happens under the stars with traditional music or fire performances (60°F/15°C, cooler in evening).
