We were very happy with the hotels, the route, and all the people we met. The main thing that could be improved is the guides' English. Ms. Lan's English was excellent and discussions were a pleasure. With the other three guides, we often struggled to understand their pronunciation and avoided asking them questions.

Vietnam has been on our bucket list for a while, but we had some hesitations, especially bringing a manual wheelchair to Vietnam. We searched and found Maika Tours and we must say, it was an experience that surpassed all our expectations. From the moment we reached out to enquire abut a possible travel itinerary we knew we were in excellent hands. The owner Mr Giang Vu proposed a trip schedule which we adjusted to our preferences and requirements. Every detail was meticulously planned and researched by Mr Gian Vu. The planning process was seamless and with clear communications at all times. Booking a trip trough an agent in a foreign county you don't know is not easy, but Mr Giang Vu made us feel so comfortable that we felt we made the right decision. The local guides Hoàn in North, Charlie in Central and Tan David in South Vietnam were exceptional. Their deep knowledge of the destinations, coupled with their passion for sharing it made the tour exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure we had authentic and enriching experiences, giving us insights into the food, culture, history and local way of life. All three guides were trained to handle clients with a wheelchair in a professional and very friendly manner. We felt comfortable from the first minute we met. We travelled in a large and very comfortable van with careful and helpful drivers. All Hotels were carefully chosen according to the accessibility with a wheelchair and met our expectations and some even exceeded. We arrived in Vietnam meeting new people and left as friends. These experiences made the trip truly memorable and distinct from other travel services. THANK YOU Maika Team- your dedication to excellence, attention to detail and genuine passion for creating unforgettable journey make you a TOP CHOICE for any traveller to Vietnam. THANK YOU again.

We cannot overstate how pleased we were with our time in Vietnam and the top tier service from Maika Tours - Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia Travel and Tours. Mr. Giang, the owner, is extremely detailed and ensured everything went smoothly. Vietnam is not wheelchair friendly but the tour providers went way beyond expectations to ensure I was able to see everything. They custom built ramps so I could get in and out of a van and the various places we visited. When a ramp wouldn’t work, they would piggyback me so I could get into the water puppet show and Halong Bay Cruise. If they are willing to do so much for Christina Lansdell and I to see their amazing country, just imagine how they can serve you! The hotels were all top-tier with phenomenal selection of tasting menus each night from the BEST restaurants. We also appreciated the Mr. Giang intentionally includes tours and activities that support underprivileged people. We went to a wounded, North Vietnamese veteran’s home to learn how to make rice wine. A restaurant that recruits and trains underserved teenagers. We also went to a facility where they train disabled adults a craft/artisan skill where they produce items for sale. Don’t hesitate! Visit Vietnam and Mr. Giang make it worry free!
