Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
You'll start with a morning pickup from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and head out to the Cu Chi tunnels to see the historical network and learn about Vietnamese resistance during the war. After that, you're traveling to the Mekong Delta with a traditional Vietnamese lunch stop along the route. Once you arrive, you'll take a rowing boat through the small canals under coconut trees, which is peaceful and gives you a real sense of the landscape. From there, a motor boat takes you to a coconut island where you'll visit a local family's home to try tropical fruits, honey tea, and homemade wine while watching a live traditional music performance. You'll spend the afternoon walking through country roads to see how people live out here, then head back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.
