    You'll arrive in Melbourne and get settled into your riverside hotel. Your Travel Director will meet you at South Wharf for a welcome dinner at a popular local restaurant, so you can meet the other travelers and get oriented to the city.

  2. Day 2

    Melbourne

    A guided walk takes you through Melbourne's little lanes, arcades, and cafe areas where you'll see Victorian facades, street art, and federation buildings. Later you'll visit the Koorie Heritage Trust Gallery for a Make Travel Matter experience learning about Koorie peoples and their cultures. The afternoon is free for you to explore more on your own or just relax.

    After flying to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, you'll take a cruise at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures where you can spot koalas, wallabies, and crocodiles. Then you'll participate in a hands-on tree planting activity with Rainforest Rescue to help restore the Notophyll Vine Forest as part of a Make Travel Matter experience.

Local guides share information about the reef's marine life while you enjoy a buffet lunch and afternoon tea onboard.

In the evening, you'll meet up with the group for dinner at Ochre Restaurant, which features Australian cuisine made with local produce.

    Are there any options to Scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef?

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
