  1. Day 1

    Adelaide

    Arriving in Adelaide, you'll check into Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets and meet the group over a glass of local sparkling wine. From there, it's off to Adelaide Central Market for your welcome reception where you'll connect with market stall owners and creators, hear about their work, and work through a four-course roaming tasting paired with local wine.

  2. Day 2

    Mount Lofty - Hahndorf - McLaren Vale - Riverland

    After breakfast and a city sights tour of Adelaide, you'll head to Mount Lofty for views across the city skyline down to the coast. Next comes historic Hahndorf with its German-style architecture and artisanal food options that you can explore at your own pace. Then you'll travel to McLaren Vale and check out the d'Arenberg Cube, going through all five levels before a wine tasting with 360-degree vineyard views from the top. By late afternoon you'll board the Proud Mary riverboat in the Riverland, settle into your cabin, and have supper with fellow travelers. The boat stays overnight at Woodlane in the bush.

  3. Day 3

    Murray River Cruise

    The Proud Mary cruises past willow trees and through Mannum, Younghusband, and Teal Flat while you have lunch prepared by the riverboat chefs. You'll disembark for a guided cruise with an ecologist on a smaller boat to see the Murray River shallows and cliffs up close. Back aboard for dinner, you'll have a barbeque under the stars with live entertainment around a campfire overlooking the river.

    Breakfast comes while the Proud Mary heads downstream through Younghusband, Pellaring Flat, and Cowirra. You'll stop in historic Mannum for a walk through the township, then reboard for lunch featuring fresh local produce as the boat cruises past Ponde, Caloote, Woodlane, Mypolyka, and Willow Banks. Arriving at Murray Bridge in late afternoon, you'll travel on to the historic township of Berri.

    Loxton - 23rd Street Distillery - Renmark

    A sightseeing tour of the Berri region covers its history from pioneering days to becoming Australia's fruit bowl, and you'll stop at a local fruit stall to taste fresh fruit from farmers. Later you'll head to Loxton Historical Village to see over 45 exhibits, buildings, farm machinery, and artifacts spanning 1890 to 1960. At 23rd Street Distillery you'll participate in a gin blending masterclass to create your own custom gin. The afternoon is yours to explore river trails or silo art in Renmark before choosing a restaurant for dinner.

    Barossa Valley - Monarto Safari Park

    After continuing through the Riverland scenery, you'll travel to Barossa Valley and visit Maggie Beer's Farm for a cooking demonstration in the kitchen from the television series The Cook and the Chef. Next is a stroll through charming Tanunda, then to Monarto Safari Park for a wildlife safari experience. You'll finish the day sipping local wine and enjoying canapés while listening to lions roar nearby.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
