    In Tabuk you'll see the old fort and Hejaz Railway station. From there, head to Al-Disah, stopping in a 25 km valley with sandy riverbeds, palm trees, and red sandstone cliffs. You'll have a picnic and look at ancient caves and rock carvings before continuing on to Al-Ula.

After that, wander through the desert and see the mud-brick old town of Al-Ula. Next, visit Madachil Valley with its natural arch and the Gharamil area with basalt formations.

    Eine Reise, die uns noch lange ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern wird! Obwohl wir nun schon zwei Wochen zurück sind, denken wir immer noch voller Begeisterung an diese wunderbare Reise zurück – und hoffentlich bleibt das noch lange so! Alles hat perfekt geklappt, und wir hatten die Möglichkeit, unglaublich gastfreundliche Menschen kennenzulernen. Die Landschaft war faszinierend, und das Spannungsfeld zwischen Tradition und Moderne war besonders eindrucksvoll. Es ist beeindruckend zu sehen, wie das Land seine alte Geschichte wiederentdeckt und bewahrt – auch wenn die Altstadt von Al Ula deswegen geschlossen war. Doch die beeindruckenden Nabatäer-Gräber haben das mehr als wettgemacht. Ein großes Kompliment auch an den lokalen Partner, der sich überaus bemüht und hilfsbereit zeigte – auch über seine eigentliche Aufgabe hinaus. Ebenso waren die Stadtführer hervorragend: kompetent, herzlich und voller Leidenschaft für ihr Land. Unser Guide Shahar in Al Ula hat wirklich alles gegeben – vom Kamelritt bis hin zum gemütlichen Kaffee bei Einheimischen! Ein besonderer Höhepunkt war unser Besuch in Medina. Dank eines Tipps eines anderen Ventus-Guides waren wir dort schon am Donnerstagabend. Der Moment, als wir pünktlich zum Sonnenuntergangsgebet die Ströme von Gläubigen aus aller Welt in Richtung Moschee ziehen sahen, war einfach magisch. Eine spontane Einladung in das Mohammad Propheten Center machte diesen Moment noch besonderer – eine unvergessliche Erfahrung! Das Reisekonzept mit dem Handy war sehr praktisch und funktionierte reibungslos, und wenn wir Fragen hatten, erhielten wir immer sofort eine Antwort. Das Autofahren war in Riad, Medina und Dschidda herausfordernd – aber mit einer kleinen Anpassung an die lokale Fahrweise klappte auch das. Die Hotelauswahl war sehr gelungen – und oft wurden wir sogar mit Upgrades oder besonders schönen Zimmern überrascht. Auch dort haben wir die unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft des Landes gespürt. Wir sind unglaublich glücklich, dass wir uns unser eigenes Bild von Land und Leuten machen konnten. Und eines ist sicher: Spätestens 2030 möchten wir wiederkommen, um zu sehen, wie die Visionen von MBS Wirklichkeit geworden sind! Besonders am Golf von Akaba hätten wir gerne noch eine Nacht verbracht – es war dort einfach wunderschön. Mit welcher Euphorie die Einheimischen an die Zukunft glauben, hat uns tief beeindruckt – und wir sind gespannt, was die nächsten Jahre bringen. Ein riesiges DANKESCHÖN an Sie für diese perfekt zusammengestellte Reise – wir hätten es uns nicht schöner vorstellen können!

    Ich bin wohlbehalten von meiner Reise nach Turkmenistan zurückgekehrt – und erneut war es eine hervorragend organisierte Reise. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch meine Reiseleiterin Natascha war äußerst fürsorglich. Sie stellte sicher, dass alles reibungslos verlief und die Unterkünfte meinen Erwartungen entsprachen. Während der Rundreise vermittelte sie mir mit fundiertem Fachwissen spannende Einblicke in das Land. Eine Übernachtung in Ashgabat wurde kurzfristig in ein anderes Hotel verlegt: Statt des Hotels Yildiz, das für Regierungsgäste reserviert war, wurde ich im Hotel Archabil untergebracht. Dieses erwies sich als exzellenter Ersatz – ein ebenso hochwertiges 5*-Hotel, in dem das Frühstücksbuffet sogar noch besser war als im Yildiz. Auch die beiden Inlandsflüge verliefen pünktlich, und die insgesamt sieben Fahrer, die mich auf meinen Fahrten durchs Land begleiteten, sorgten mit komfortablen Fahrzeugen für eine sichere und angenehme Reise. Ich habe viel gesehen, faszinierende Eindrücke gesammelt und einen tiefen Einblick in die Geschichte Turkmenistans erhalten. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Beteiligten vor Ort und an Ventus Reisen für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung!

Der gesamte Ablauf war hervorragend geplant und organisiert. Alle Übergaben durch die Guides sowie die Tagesprogramme funktionierten reibungslos und wurden, wenn nötig, flexibel und angemessen an die Gegebenheiten angepasst. Unsere Reiseleiter waren durchweg kompetent, zuverlässig, freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns jederzeit bestens betreut und sicher fühlten.
