Saarbrücken to Saarburg
This morning you'll cruise through the Saar River and pass by the Saarschleife, a dramatic bend surrounded by deep green forest near Mettlach. The ship continues on to Saarburg where you'll spend the night.

Saarburg to Cochem
You're cruising the Saar and Moselle Rivers toward Trier, arriving late morning. Pick either a guided tour of Roman Trier or head to the Treetop Walk at Saarschleife, which sits 137 feet above ground for a completely different view. From there you'll cruise to Cochem for the night.

The scenic Moselle valleys come into view as you cruise toward Cochem, arriving early afternoon. Walk through the historic streets with their colorful buildings, then choose between a guided tour of Reichsburg Castle or a panoramic hike through the old town with forest trails that offer castle views.

You're heading to Koblenz at the confluence where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers meet, passing through idyllic countryside. Once there, take the funicular railway up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and get magnificent views across the city and surrounding valleys.

You can either take a tourist train through the vineyards with wine tasting and visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet, or hike through the vineyards to Niederwald Monument and Abbey of St. Hildegard. By evening you'll have time to explore Drosselgasse.

You'll arrive in Mannheim and travel by coach to Heidelberg. Back on the ship in Heidelberg, you'll cruise to medieval Eberbach and enjoy the gala evening.
