Istanbul
You'll arrive in Istanbul and get settled at your hotel in the city center. The day is yours to do as you like, so you can rest up from your journey, take it easy, or wander around the neighborhood on foot if you feel like it. By evening, the streets come alive with decorations and lights, so there's plenty to see if you want to head out and get a feel for the area.

Istanbul
Start with Topkapi Palace, where you'll walk through the courtyards, rooms, and treasury to understand the scale of Ottoman power. After that, head to the Grand Bazaar (one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets) where your guide points out reliable shops. Later in the afternoon, you'll check out the Spice Bazaar with all its colors and smells, then take a cruise along the Bosphorus to see the skyline from the water. End the day at Taksim Square and Istiklal Street for shopping and people-watching into the evening.

- Day 3
Istanbul
Start by visiting Dolmabahce Palace to see the late Ottoman period's architectural style and decoration. From there, head to Nisantasi, a neighborhood known for high-end shops and nice cafes where you can grab something to eat. Spend some time at Istanbul Modern Art Museum looking at contemporary Turkish work. Cross the Galata Bridge afterward and climb Galata Tower for views across the city. Wander through the historic Galata district with its boutique shops and vintage stores. As evening comes on, you can finish with a traditional Turkish hammam for a relaxing end to the day.

Walk through the Fener-Balat district where colorful houses and old churches reflect Istanbul's history as a multicultural city. Spend time wandering the lively streets at your own pace. Later, head to Karakoy to look for unique items in artisan workshops and concept stores, then grab lunch at one of the neighborhood's cafes before you depart the city.
