Itinerary
- Day 1
Trier
Your arrival in Trier gives you a chance to step into Germany's oldest city, where roughly 2000 years of history are layered throughout the streets. The Porta Nigra Roman gate stands as one of the most impressive structures from that era, and you'll want to spend time seeing it up close. From there, head to the Roman amphitheater and the Imperial Baths, both offering insight into how Romans lived here all those centuries ago. By evening, settle into a traditional wine tavern with a glass of local Riesling to kick back after your travels.
