You'll arrive in Paris by 2:30 pm with a few hours before boarding your cruise ship at 5 pm. Head into the city and grab a croissant and coffee at a local café, take a walk through the streets, or do some shopping. It's a nice way to get a quick feel for Paris before heading to the Seine for your evening departure.

Les Andelys
Start at the Adventure Center where you'll pick your morning activity: walk to Vernon's Chateau des Tourelles, take a guided tour of Monet's gardens at Giverny, or visit Bizy Castle. Around midday you'll have a traditional French crêpe lunch and pastry demonstration while sailing. Later, the ship reaches Les Andelys where you can either hike up to the Château Gaillard ruins or take a guided walk through this Seine town.

Caudebec
You have two main options for the morning: a relaxing bike ride along the river with your Adventure Host or a guided trip exploring the Normandy Abbeys Route with its medieval Benedictine and Augustine abbeys and churches along the Seine. This afternoon brings an optional guided excursion to the old seaside town of Honfleur if you're interested. During the evening, there's an onboard lecture about D-Day and the Normandy landing.

Caudebec to Rouen
You'll choose between three full-day adventures: a guided tour of Normandy's WWII landing beaches including Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc with the American Cemetery, a full-day exploration of British and Canadian commemorative sites like Juno Beach Center and war cemeteries, or an authentic Normandy experience with brandy and Calvados tasting. After returning to the ship, there's live entertainment onboard before you cruise to Rouen.

You can also stroll on your own or relax with wine at a Left Bank literary café.

Paris to Tournus
Take a high-speed train from Paris to Dijon, then drive to Beaune. You'll visit the Hotel-Dieu Charity Hospital built in 1443, which houses Van der Weyden's painting of the Last Judgement. This afternoon, drive to Chalon-sur-Saône to board your Suite Ship. You'll end the day docked overnight in Tournus.

Tournus to Trévoux
Head to the Adventure Center to plan your day. Take a guided tour with a local to explore Tournus, one of southeast Burgundy's oldest monastic centers. You can also take an excursion to a Chardonnay cellar for wine tasting, and there's an onboard lecture about wine hosted by your Certified Sommelier. The ship then cruises to Trévoux for the overnight.

Trévoux to Lyon
This morning the ship sails for Lyon. You'll start with an onboard cheese and wine tasting hosted by your Certified Sommelier while sailing. Choose between discovering Lyon's architectural district by bike over bridges and along the riverbanks where the Rhône and Saône meet, or take a guided sightseeing tour from Fourvière Hill to explore the Old Town's medieval alleyways, cafés, and monuments. There's a WWII and French Resistance lecture plus live entertainment after dinner.

Viviers - Avignon
Choose between hiking in the vineyards for nice views from the hills or taking a morning guided walking tour of Tournon, one of France's oldest medieval cities with its 16th-century castle. You'll visit a wine and chocolate tasting at Cité du Chocolat at Valrhona. After lunch, there's an onboard wine and cheese tasting while sailing to Viviers. Later that afternoon, explore Viviers' pale-stone buildings and medieval Old Town on a guided walking tour, then catch live entertainment before an overnight cruise to Avignon.
