Itinerary

Lyon to Tournus
You'll arrive in Lyon by 2 pm and head straight to the ship to get settled before 5 pm. After checking into your suite, dinner's served onboard while you dock overnight in Tournus. This gives you a chance to get familiar with the ship and meet other passengers before things really get going.

Tournus
Stop by the Adventure Center this morning to see what options are available for the day. You can take a classic guided tour through Tournus and learn about its role as one of Burgundy's key monastic centers, or head to a Chardonnay cellar for a wine tasting instead. Later, a Certified Sommelier leads an onboard wine lecture to wrap up the day.

Trévoux to Lyon
The ship sails to Lyon this morning with a cheese and wine tasting happening as you move along the water. You've got two options: a bike tour through Lyon's architecture and along the riverbanks where the Rhône and Saône meet, or a guided tour from Fourvière Hill taking in churches, medieval streets, and Place des Terreaux. After dinner, there's a WWII and French Resistance lecture followed by live entertainment.

Today focuses on Lyon's food scene with a culinary walk through the city to understand why it's known as France's gastronomic capital. From there, you'll head out on a guided tour to the Beaujolais wine region and learn about its lighter style wines. Back onboard as you cruise toward Tournon, your Certified Sommelier hosts a food and wine pairing dinner.

Tournon to Viviers to Avignon
In Tournon, choose between a vineyard hike with views of the surrounding landscape or a guided walk through this medieval town featuring a 16th-century castle, plus wine and chocolate tasting at Valrhona's chocolate museum. After lunch, there's a wine and cheese tasting onboard while sailing. Later, you'll walk around charming Viviers to see its Romanesque cathedral and Old Town before continuing to Avignon with evening entertainment onboard.

Avignon to Arles
A guided tour takes you through Avignon's fortress city and its ramparts, including the Palace of the Popes. If you're interested, there's an optional visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape's wine cellars to experience Rhône region wines. You'll have live entertainment onboard before the ship heads toward Arles.

Spend some free time at Le Café van Gogh if you want a glass of wine, then return onboard for a wine and chocolate tasting hosted by your Certified Sommelier.
