Itinerary
- Day 1
Chicago
You'll arrive in Chicago and head to your hotel on your own. Later in the evening, you'll meet your tour director for an orientation before things officially get rolling.
- Day 2
Chicago
This morning starts with a guided tour through Chicago's main attractions like Lake Shore Drive, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. You'll see Willis Tower and the city's high-rise skyline. After the tour wraps up, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around and explore on your own.

- Ride to the top of Willis Tower and enjoy the spectacular view (weather permitting)

Chicago to Sioux Falls
You'll drive through the Midwest's heartland, passing cornfields and wheat farms. Then you'll cross the Mississippi River into Iowa and follow the Lewis and Clark historic route toward the Missouri River. By evening, you'll arrive in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls to Rapid City
Heading west through South Dakota's grasslands, you'll reach Badlands National Park to see the colorful rock formations up close. After that, you'll continue into the Black Hills where Mount Rushmore comes into view with its carved presidential faces.

Rapid City to Cody
You'll travel westward through Wyoming, crossing through twelve mountain ranges, deserts, and rolling grasslands. By evening you'll reach Cody for the night, though road or weather conditions might send you to Billings or Livingston, Montana instead.
- Day 6
Yellowstone National Park
Today you'll explore Yellowstone, the country's first national park. You'll see geysers, waterfalls, and wildlife throughout the day. Check out Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, the Yellowstone Canyon falls, and Hayden Valley where you might spot bison and elk.

Grand Teton National Park to Salt Lake City
You'll drive through Grand Teton National Park with its mountain peaks over 13,000 feet and stop at Snake River Outlook. Then you'll head to Salt Lake City to see Temple Square, the State Capitol, and the Mormon Tabernacle. There's an optional dinner at a rooftop restaurant if you want it.

Bryce Canyon
You'll travel to Bryce Canyon and tour the colorful hoodoos, those tall sandstone spires and pinnacles. If weather cooperates, you'll stay for evening stargazing to see constellations and stars overhead.

Bryce Canyon to Flagstaff
Leaving Bryce Canyon, you'll head to Lake Powell where blue water sits against red-rock canyon walls. From there, you'll continue to Grand Canyon National Park and stop at the rim to take in the mile-deep canyon. Later you'll arrive in Flagstaff, a historic Route 66 town.

Flagstaff to Las Vegas
You'll drive toward Las Vegas, passing through Seligman, a Route 66 town that looks like it's from 60 years ago. After arriving in Las Vegas in the afternoon, you'll have time to explore the Las Vegas Strip at your own pace.

Las Vegas to Los Angeles
You'll travel to Los Angeles across the Mojave Desert, passing the world's tallest thermometer and Joshua trees along the way. Once there, you'll take a tour of Hollywood, the Sunset Strip, and Beverly Hills, finishing up around 5 pm.
