    Buenos Aires

    You'll touch down in Buenos Aires, the capital city situated along the Río de la Plata. After getting to your hotel and settling in, you'll have the rest of the day to orient yourself before starting the road trip through South America.

  2. Day 2

    Buenos Aires

    Your guide walks you through the historic center, starting with Plaza de Mayo and the Cabildo, then along the Haussmann-style boulevards. Later, you head to San Telmo's bohemian streets and La Boca's colorful neighborhoods, including Caminito. By evening, you'll catch an authentic tango show and learn about Argentine culture.

    A private transfer takes you to the domestic airport for a 3.5-hour flight to El Calafate in Patagonia. Once you arrive, another transfer brings you to your hotel in this gateway town surrounded by glaciers and mountain scenery.

  4. Day 4

    El Calafate

    You travel along Route 15 through Los Glaciares National Park to Estancia Nibepo Aike, where you'll see sheep shearing. Lunch includes a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue. After that, you sail across Lake Argentino with several stops, walk through native forest, and approach Perito Moreno Glacier from different viewpoints along the walkways.

    El Calafate

    An early transfer gets you to Punta Bandera for a 10-hour glacier cruise through Canal de Témpanos. You'll navigate around icebergs and see the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers, with Spegazzini reaching over 135 meters tall. After trekking through the forest to Refugio Spegazzini for lunch with panoramic views, you head back to Punta Bandera.

  7. Day 7

    El Chaltén

    The day is yours to hike to Laguna de los Tres Picos, starting from San Martin street. This well-marked 10.2km trail takes roughly 5 hours and reaches a turquoise lake at 1,170 meters elevation with Mount Fitz Roy in view. If you prefer, there's a longer 20km alternative route through Hostería el Pilar with multiple viewpoints.

    Ushuaia

    An early pickup starts a small-group trek through Tierra del Fuego National Park. You explore quieter trails and hidden forest corners along the Beagle Channel, reaching Lapataia Viewpoint. After lunch, you board a yacht to see sea lions and cormorants, walk H Island's Yámana archaeological sites, and spot the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.

    Salta to Cachi

    You self-drive 162km through spectacular landscape from Salta. The route traverses the Lerma Valley and Escoipe Gorge with panoramic stops, then enters Los Cardones National Park following the historic Inca Trail through cactus terrain. The perfectly straight Tin Tin Straight spans 18km. You arrive in colonial Cachi with its white buildings and church featuring a cactus wood roof.

You explore charming villages including Tilcara with its picturesque streets, the archaeological site Pucará, and Humahuaca village. Colorful markets and cultural heritage mark this region that once served ancient trade routes. Time permitting, you can detour to Hornocal's 14-colored mountain at 4,761m before returning to Salta.
