- Day 1
Zanzibar
Your driver meets you at the airport and heads to your hotel, with your local guide sharing details about Zanzibar's past during the drive. Once you check in, you'll walk through Stone Town to see the old architecture and learn about the area's history. This first day helps you get oriented and start understanding the island's character.

Landmarks Stone Town - Day 2
Zanzibar
After breakfast, the day is completely yours. You can hang out by the pool, hit the fitness center, or book a spa treatment at Hotel Verde. If you feel like getting out, Zanzibar Island has nice beaches nearby and the staff are welcoming if you want recommendations on where to go.

- Day 3
Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
Your driver picks you up at 6:00 AM for the drive to Tarangire National Park. You'll spend the morning and afternoon on game drives looking for large elephant herds and the varied landscape. Lunch happens around 1:00 PM at the picnic site, then you head back out until evening before returning to your lodge.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After breakfast, you head out with packed lunches for the 2-hour drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once you're checked in, you descend into the crater for a game drive to spot the Big Five and other animals. Lunch is at 1:00 PM at the Ngoitocktock picnic site, and at 3:00 PM you drive back up the crater walls and continue to Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 5
Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar
After breakfast, your driver picks you up at 8:00 AM for Lake Manyara National Park and you spend the day on a game drive through forests and open savannahs looking for tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and birds. Lunch is at 1:00 PM at the picnic point. Later you drive to Arusha Airport to fly back to Zanzibar, then get transferred to your hotel for dinner.

This day is open for you to relax however you want. The hotel has a fitness center and you can also arrange spa services. The beaches on Zanzibar Island are close by if you want to spend time by the water, or you can just stay put and take it easy at the resort.

Zanzibar
You can either stay at the hotel or do whatever activities interest you. Zanzibar Island has nice beaches within reach and the resorts here are good quality, so whether you use the fitness facilities or find a quiet spot to relax, there's plenty of ways to spend your time.

Zanzibar Departure
After checking out, your driver takes you to Zanzibar Airport or the harbor depending on how you're leaving. You'll have time to think back on Stone Town's markets, the beaches at Nungwi, and the island's character. You head home with memories of what makes Zanzibar distinctive.
