Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and the hotel shuttle will get you from the airport. After checking in, you have the afternoon and evening to yourself. Take a walk around the city, get dinner somewhere local, and pick up your 15-day Swiss Pass. This covers public transport and entry to most sights you'll visit.

- Day 2
Rhine Falls and Zurich
Head out to Rhine Falls, one of Europe's largest waterfalls, and view it from different platforms. You can add a boat tour if you want a closer look. Back in Zurich by afternoon for a self-guided walk taking in the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House and the historic streets. Use the Google Map they provide to navigate on your own.

Heidi Alpine World Self-Guided Tour
This is a self-guided day through the alpine region. Start with Rapperswil Old Town, then drive or take transport through Ricken Pass for the mountain views. Stop in Vaduz, Liechtenstein's capital, to grab stamps at the post office or have a coffee. Continue to Maienfeld, the real-life setting for the Heidi stories. Head back to Zurich using the provided map.

Zurich to Zermatt via Glacier Express
Board the Glacier Express from Zurich and settle in for about eight hours. This train crosses the Alps through 91 tunnels and 291 bridges with panoramic windows for viewing. You'll roll through mountain scenery the whole way. Arrive in Zermatt, check into your hotel, and relax for the evening.

- Day 5
Matterhorn and Glacier Paradise
Spend the day on Matterhorn activities. Head up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Europe's highest summer ski area that stays open year-round. Check out the Matterhorn Museum to learn about the mountain's first ascent and how Zermatt grew from a small village into a resort town. The views of Matterhorn itself dominate everything around you.

Zermatt to Interlaken
Take the train from Zermatt to Interlaken using your Swiss Pass. The journey gives you more alpine scenery. Once you arrive, check into your hotel. You can upgrade to stay in one of the nearby villages like Wengen or Grindelwald if you prefer something more traditional and quieter than Interlaken itself.

- Day 7
Jungfraujoch and Car-Free Villages
Take a train up to Jungfraujoch, the 'Top of Europe' and the highest railway station around. The route passes Eiger and Mönch mountains with views down to the Aletsch Glacier. Spend time in the Ice Palace, which is hand-carved with restaurants and viewing areas inside. Later, explore the car-free villages of Mürren and Wengen in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. You can hike and visit Trummelbach Falls. Regional train passes included for the day.

Lucerne, Mt. Rigi and Lake Lucerne
Travel by train from Interlaken to Lucerne using your Swiss Pass. After settling into your hotel, take the train and cable car up Mt. Rigi, which is included. You'll see typical Swiss meadows with grazing cows and forests. Finish with a boat ride on Lake Lucerne to wind down. Traditional villages and mountains frame the shoreline.

- Day 9
Mt. Titlis and Stanserhorn
Take the train to Engelberg then ride the gondola and cable car up Mt. Titlis for high alpine views of rock and snow. The Ice Flyer chairlift lets you glide over the glacier. If you want more, continue to Stanserhorn via the historic 1893 CabriO cableway for 360-degree views. You might spot marmots and can see across 10 Swiss lakes. There's a revolving restaurant if you want to eat with a view.

Lucerne to Montreux
Train from Lucerne to Montreux on your Swiss Pass. Check in and then walk the old town on your own. Narrow cobblestone streets, historic buildings and small shops fill the area. Stop by the Freddie Mercury statue, a nod to the Queen singer. Hikers can venture into the nearby hills, and if concerts or festivals are happening, catch one. Self-guided with a map provided.

All aboard the GoldenPass Panoramic Express Train, which takes you through Montreux, Gruyères, and Broc Fabrique. The route covers world-known spots like Interlaken, Gstaad, Château-d'Oex and Montbovon, each with its own character. You'll get a full day of scenery and regional variety. Return to Montreux for the night.

Montreux to Geneva
Train to Geneva using your Swiss Pass and check into your hotel near the airport. Walk the city yourself starting at the Jet d'Eau on Lake Geneva, then follow the lakeside promenade. Explore the Vieille Ville with its medieval feel and cobblestone streets. Climb the tower at St. Peter's Cathedral for views across the city. Check out Place du Bourg-de-Four, Maison Tavel, Palais des Nations and Ariana Park at your own pace.

Lake Geneva Cruise
Take a boat cruise on Lake Geneva for a relaxed day on the water. You'll see Mont-Blanc mountain and the surrounding Alps. The lake is surrounded by vineyards, castles and villages. From the boat you see Geneva at one end and the Swiss Riviera towns of Montreux and Vevey along the northern shore. It's a different perspective on the region.

Departure from Geneva
Check out of your hotel and head to Geneva airport (GVA) for your departure. If your hotel is near the airport, use the shuttle. If you upgraded to a city center location, you'll need to arrange your own transport to get there.
