- Day 1
Cape Town
You'll arrive in Cape Town whenever works for your flight. Once there, you'll meet up with your CEO and the rest of the group for a welcome meeting. There's a group dinner option in the evening if you want to join. If you're doing the South African Wine Tour add-on, book an extra night before the tour starts since it gets going early the next morning.

Cape Town to !Khwa ttu
The day starts early with a drive through the Western Cape in the Lando vehicle, heading toward the G Adventures-supported !Khwa ttu San Culture and Education Centre. You'll spend time learning about the history and culture of the San people. By afternoon you'll reach the campsite with the rest of the day free to wander around the surrounding area.

!Khwa ttu to Orange River
You'll head north through expanses of rooibos tea plantations during the drive. By late afternoon you'll arrive at camp along the Orange River with enough daylight left for a swim in the water to cool off before dinner and settling in for the night.

Orange River to Fish River Canyon
The route takes you toward Fish River Canyon, Africa's largest canyon. You'll stop to watch the sun drop over the canyon's rim, then set up camp nearby. The evening is spent relaxing by the campfire.

Fish River Canyon to Namib Desert
After heading north on bumpy roads through the landscape, you'll arrive in the Namib Desert in the late afternoon. You'll set up camp and have time to take in the towering red sand dunes of Sossusvlei before nightfall.

- Day 6
Namib Desert
Before dawn you'll climb Dune 45 to catch the sunrise. Later there's an optional trip to Deadvlei followed by a walk through Sesriem Canyon where you'll learn about its geology and see wildlife pools. If time permits, the small town of Solitaire is on the route back. The evening offers an optional desert walk timed for sunset.

Namib Desert to Swakopmund
You'll cross over dry mountain passes and wide-open sections of the Namib Desert before reaching Swakopmund. This adventure town has plenty going on, and you'll have two nights here to settle in and check out what interests you.

Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe
The drive takes you to Spitzkoppe, a set of granite peaks known locally as the Matterhorn of Namibia. You'll have time to explore on foot once you arrive. The night sky here is excellent for star-gazing if you're interested in that.

- Day 10
Spitzkoppe to Etosha National Park
You'll spend more time taking in the Spitzkoppe landscape before moving on to Etosha National Park. A safari drive gets you to your camp, and after sunset you can watch animals at the lit watering holes near the camping area. There's an option to book a night safari in an open vehicle if you want more wildlife viewing.

Etosha National Park
You'll spend the full day driving through Etosha National Park on a wildlife safari, traveling in a Lando adventure vehicle with your CEO guide. The dry season brings animals to the waterholes, so you'll have chances to see over 100 different mammal species throughout the day. Your guide will navigate the park looking for wildlife, and you can expect to move between different areas as you spot animals and track herds. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and binoculars for the best viewing experience during this long safari drive.

You'll travel south from Etosha toward Waterberg Plateau. Once there, the day is yours to decide how to spend it. You can hike the trails in the national park looking for more wildlife or just relax at camp.

Waterberg Plateau to Windhoek
The final drive heads south through Namibia's countryside from Waterberg Plateau to Windhoek. You'll stop at the G Adventures-supported Penduka Village Restaurant & Shop for a traditional lunch before the tour ends. If you want to keep going, talk with your CEO about extending your trip.
