Customer Reviews
- Emily· August 17th, 2025Great tour but I think there should be some more of Guatemala included at the start. So much to see but i unless you go a little early you travel to the historic capital to join the tour and then leave. Better to either start from the current capital or include a day there sightseeing. Accommodation ok but could have been better for the price. Restaurants suggested with the leader of the group were often a little more pricey but we had the option to do our own thing too. Tour leader was hit and miss and didnt cope very well when one day the weather was bad and we couldn't do what had been planned felt disorganised and wee went kept in the loop very well. But overall it was a great trip and good people. Nice taster of 3 countries in a short time frameShow more
- Murielle· July 13th, 2025The tour was great! The tour guide (JC) is a kind-hearted person with a great sense of humor. He always took care of everything and I could totally let myself go! Guatemala is beautiful and I wouldn't have been able to see so much of the country without the tour.Show more

Asked on August 6th, 2025How does one get to the starting hotel? What airport should I fly into and how is the transfer done? Do the hotels provide breakfast? What should one budget for food (avg)? I see a few optional tours but is there a list of other optional tours or is everything else provided or free (ie: walking and exploring the towns)?

Traveler•Written August 2025What is the best time to travel to these countries. Would like to avoid the rainy season if they have one.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025
You can travel to this region at any time. Weather is usually pretty stable year round times to potentially work around June-November as the region can be hit by bad weather due to it being Hurricane Season. We offer arrival transfer to the starting hotel. You can opt to take a taxi or public transit as well. Breakfast is not included and will need to be purchased in destination. Allow USD420-550 for meals not included.

Traveler•Written August 2025What does the airport transfer cost when arriving in Mexico? Flights are better come in a day early so what would an extra day in the hotel cost. I will want to do Tulum and possibly other things there, do I book through you or the hotel?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025
The best airport to fly into for this tour is Cancun Airport and the cost for an arrival transfer to the starting hotel in Playa del Carmen is $100 USD. We are able to book pre-night as well and the price per night $70 USD. If you want to tag on some extra time for Tulum this will need to arranged directly with hotels as we are not able to book this for you.

Traveler•Written August 2025Is the starting hotel 12bees? Why are basically no breakfasts included on this tour? Is the price of breakfast really 30-35$? What are the average breakfast and avg dinners going to cost on the trip? What is there to do around the hotel or on the island? Is there snorkeling near the hotel?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025
All of our hotels are subject to change and availability. This is a basic service level tour with simple and clean hotels and hostels. The CEO will make some recommendations for meal spots that will not be too expensive. We do not know the average meal cost since it depends on recommendations and personal preference. You are more than welcome to book a 1/2 day snorkeling and canoe trip before the tour starts, however, you will need to book that with a travel agent or third party since we do not have a supplier for this.

Asked on July 4th, 2025do you provide single occupancy? As I have many camera equipments and need to work on photos every night, need the space and quietness for photo work.. Also, according to my wife, I snore badly when I am very tired and usually is the case on a long tour..
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
Accommodation will be varied throughout this trip. Some nights on this tour will be multi-share. This may involve 4-6 group members sharing a room. The majority of accommodation will have shared bathroom facilities. Where we use multi-share hostels, rooming requests of any kind cannot be taken. For private accommodation please see tours in our Classic Standard Travel Style, as this is a Classic Basic trip.

Asked on June 16th, 2025Can I also add/book the optional activities at a later time?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2025
Of all of the tour's optional itinerary activities, the only pre-bookable ones are as follows. The remaining can only be purchased in-destination through the CEO (tour leader) or be independently pre-booked. You can add any of the following pre-bookable optional itinerary activities at a later time after the initial confirmation of a booking.
