Itinerary
- Day 1
Tangier
You'll arrive in Tangier via ferry from Spain or fly into Ibn Battuta Airport, where your driver meets you with a nameplate. Depending on when you get in, there's time to walk through the vibrant medina, check out the Kasbah Museum for views of the Strait of Gibraltar, or head to Cap Spartel where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet. After that, you'll settle into your hotel for the evening.

Tangier to Chefchaouen
Following breakfast, you'll catch any Tangier spots you might have missed, including the medina, Kasbah Museum, Cap Spartel, and Hercules Cave. Then it's time to drive through lush coastal landscapes and charming villages heading to Chefchaouen. You'll check in and spend the evening exploring the blue-washed medina, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and the Grand Mosque with its distinctive octagonal minaret.

Chefchaouen to Fes
The morning's yours to wander Chefchaouen's serene blue-washed streets and check out local artisan shops before the crowds show up. In the afternoon, you'll drive through the Rif Mountains and fertile plains heading to Fes. Once you check in to your hotel, you'll rest after the journey, and tomorrow you'll explore the historic medina.

Fes
You'll take a guided walking tour through Fes' medina with a local guide who shows you hidden gems and historical treasures. The route includes the Chouara Tannery to see traditional leather dyeing methods, the Dar Batha Museum's collection of Moroccan arts and crafts, and the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts inside a restored caravanserai. You'll also pay respects at Moulay Idriss II Shrine and wander the vibrant souks.

Fes to Rabat to Casablanca
After breakfast, you'll drive to Rabat, Morocco's capital. There you'll see Hassan Tower, an incomplete 12th-century mosque and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V with its Alaouite architecture. The Kasbah of the Udayas overlooks the Atlantic with its Andalusian gardens and you'll explore that next. Then it's on to Casablanca, arriving in the afternoon to check in and either explore the nightlife or relax by the seaside.

Casablanca to Essaouira
Your day starts with the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Then you'll drive along the scenic coast to Essaouira, a charming artistic town where you'll check in and walk through picturesque streets with art galleries, boutiques, and cafes. Before evening, you'll visit the Skala de la Ville, an old Portuguese fortress with panoramic views of the Atlantic, and enjoy the fresh seafood and music scene.

Essaouira to Agadir
After a leisurely breakfast, you'll head south along the Atlantic coast to Agadir. This modern city, rebuilt after a 1960 earthquake, is known for beautiful beaches and vibrant atmosphere. You'll check in and spend the afternoon relaxing on golden sands or strolling the bustling promenade. Later, you'll visit the Agadir Kasbah for panoramic views and explore the lively nightlife in the evening.

Agadir to Ouarzazate
Leaving the coast, you'll head inland through rugged landscapes. You'll pass through Taznakht, famous for Berber carpets, then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Sahara. After checking in, you'll explore the city's film studios where films like Game of Thrones and Gladiator were shot. The Kasbah of Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Atlas Film Studios round out your day.

Ouarzazate to Zagora (Sahara Desert)
You'll depart Ouarzazate for the Draa Valley with lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs, enjoying scenic views of the river and surrounding mountains along the way. Continuing on to Zagora, a town on the edge of the Sahara Desert, you'll check into a Berber-style desert camp. At sunset, you'll ride a camel into the dunes, have a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, and spend the night in a comfortable Berber tent.
