Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito to Cotopaxi National Park
Start early at 7:00 am from La Mariscal in Quito and head toward Cotopaxi National Park. By 7:30 am, you'll reach San Blas Square where you meet your native guide. From there, the real work begins - ascending to 3,200 meters for a three-hour horseback riding tour through rugged terrain. Along the way, you'll pass by Limpiopungo lagoon and hear about the volcano's history and the wildlife that calls this area home. After finishing the ride, head back to your starting point where lunch is ready to help you recover from the expedition.
