Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Marrakech
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken directly to your riad in Marrakech's medina. Once you've settled in and got your bearings, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore the neighborhood on your own. Wandering through the medina streets at your own pace gives you a feel for the area before things get more structured tomorrow.

Marrakech Guided Tour
After breakfast, you'll head out on a half-day tour with a local guide who'll walk you through Marrakech's historic center. You'll see the Saadian Tomb, Bahia Palace, and Koutoubia Mosque, then spend time in the famous markets before ending up at Jemaa El Fna square. Back at the riad by evening gives you time to rest up.

Marrakech to Skoura via Ouarzazate
The driver picks you up at 8:00 a.m. for the drive through the High Atlas Mountains and over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Along the way you'll pass through Berber villages with great views of the landscape, then stop at the UNESCO heritage Kasbah d'Ait Benhaddou, an old clay village that's been used as a film location many times. From there it's on to Skoura for dinner and overnight.

Merzouga Sahara Desert Exploration
After a big breakfast, you'll get into a 4WD for a full day exploring the Sahara. You'll stop at nomadic settlements to have tea, see an abandoned village with old Galena mines, and reach Khamlia village to hear traditional Gnaoua music and eat lunch. There's an optional visit to a lake near Merzouga if you're interested before heading back to the camp.

Merzouga to Fez
Get up before dawn to watch the sunrise, grab breakfast, and then start the long drive from Merzouga to Fez, which takes about 7 hours. The route goes through Ziz Valley with several stops to take in the views. You'll pass through Midelt and Ifran, a beautiful town in the mountains, before arriving in Fez for dinner at your riad.

Fez Guided Tour
Spend your day in Fez, one of Morocco's oldest cities, with a local guide leading the way. You'll visit the ancient University of Qarawiyin, Jewish Square, and the Royal Palace, then walk through the narrow medina streets. Stop at a traditional baking cooperative and climb to a spot with views of the whole medina before heading back to the riad for dinner.

Fez to Chefchaouen via Volubilis
An early pickup takes you to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a well-preserved UNESCO site with beautiful mosaics, old pillars, and archways. After exploring the ruins, you'll drive on to Chefchaouen, the blue city, where the buildings are painted in shades of indigo. You can wander the narrow streets and take in the unique character of this mountain town.

Chefchaouen to Casablanca via Rabat
You'll leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and head toward Casablanca, about a 5.5 hour drive passing through villages and small towns. In Rabat, you'll stop to see the Oudaya (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the Hassan Tower (an incomplete minaret built in 1195), and the Mohammed V mausoleum where three kings are buried. Then it's on to Casablanca to check into your hotel.

Casablanca Sightseeing
After breakfast, you'll visit the Hassan II Mosque and check out Rick's Café, then walk along the seaside boulevard at Ain Diab. Grab lunch somewhere along the Corniche overlooking the beach, and spend the rest of the evening back at your hotel.

Departure from Casablanca
Following breakfast, you'll be transferred to Casablanca airport for your flight based on your departure time. This wraps up your tour, though you can arrange extra nights if you want to stay longer.
