Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Stockholm
You'll fly into Stockholm and meet your guide at the airport. The Arlanda Express train gets you to the city center in about 20 minutes, then it's a short walk to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day on foot exploring what makes Stockholm distinctive, from the architecture and waterfront paths to that particular Scandinavian feel the city has.

Stockholm City Tour and Archipelago Cruise
A guided tour takes you through Stockholm's key spots, including Stadshuset with its Nobel Hall and the Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan. The Vasa Museum is next, where you'll see that remarkable preserved ship from the 1600s. After lunch you have free time to wander on your own with a complimentary transit pass. By evening you're on a boat sailing through the archipelago for three hours, eating traditional shrimp buffet while you take in the water and islands.

- Day 3
Stockholm to Mora via Dala Railway
The scenic Dala Railway takes you from Stockholm to Mora, passing through Dalarna, the region known for Swedish cultural traditions. Once in Mora, your guide shows you around this small town sitting on Lake Siljan. You'll see the local heritage, from the distinctive Dala wooden horses to traditional dress and the landscapes that define Swedish identity.

- Day 4
Mora to Røros via Njupeskär and Dovrefjell
Leaving Mora, you travel the Kopparleden, an old route connecting mining towns. You'll stop at Njupesk\u00e4r, Sweden's highest waterfall at 93 meters, located in Fulufjellet National Park. The drive takes you through dense forest and sparse mountain terrain, then past H\u00f6gv\u00e4len, Sweden's highest village where reindeer roam, marking the start of Sami territory. From there it's through the Scanden mountain ridge into Røros, Norway's highest town.

- Day 5
Røros to Kongsvold via Snøhetta and Moose Safari
Røros is a UNESCO site and former mining town, so you'll walk through Kjerkgata with its striking church and the mining district. Then you drive through the Glomma valley via Tolga and Tynset across Eastern Norway's farmland and wilderness. At Snøhetta viewpoint you get panoramic views over Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, home to Norway's remaining musk ox. After a talk, you head out on a 1.5 to 2-hour moose safari by Sprinter bus looking for these large deer in their habitat.

- Day 6
Kongsvold to Geiranger via Trollstigen
Starting through Reinheim landscape where wild reindeer roam, you reach Bjorli hiking resort. From there you see the 1,000-meter Trollveggen cliff. Next is the famous Trollstigen road with its tight hairpin bends through glacial terrain in the Istratal valley. A fjord ferry takes you from Linge to Eidsdal, then you descend via serpentine roads through Geiranger-Herdalen Nature Park using the Ørnvegen road to reach Geirangerfjord and your lodge.

Geirangerfjord Boat Trip
A two-hour boat trip on the UNESCO Geirangerfjord lets you see the Seven Sisters, seven waterfalls dropping up to 300 meters, and abandoned farms clinging to the cliffs. Watch for porpoises in the water. The afternoon is yours to spend as you like, whether hiking trails like Fossåsa past Storsaeterfossen waterfall, visiting the Fjord Center, or checking out the vintage cars at your hotel.

- Day 8
Geiranger to Aurland via Jostedalsbreen Glacier and Sognefjord
You say goodbye to Geirangerfjord from Flydalsjuvet viewpoint, then head toward Nordfjord with its less dramatic, more approachable shorelines. Passing through villages like Stryn and Loen, you catch views of Jostedalsbreen, Europe's largest glacier, with one tongue nearly reaching the road. Then comes Sognefjord at 204 kilometers long, Norway's longest. An electric ferry takes you across to Laerdal where you explore the historic town, then you continue to Aurland on the Aurlandsfjord.

Aurland to Oslo via Flåm Railway and Bergen Railway
You start at Stegastein viewpoint for impressive Aurlandsfjord views. In Flåm village you board the famous Flåm Railway going to Myrdal, climbing 864 meters over 20 kilometers. From Myrdal you switch to the Bergen Railway, one of Europe's most beautiful train routes, crossing Hardangervidda's high plateau and passing through Finse at 1,222 meters altitude. The route goes through Hallingskarvet National Park and the Halling Valley, reaching Oslo after around 6 hours total. End the evening watching the sunset from the white opera house overlooking Oslo Fjord.

- Day 10
Oslo City Tour and Dinner Cruise
A guided tour covers Oslo's parliament, historic university, Royal Palace, and Aker Brygge waterfront area. City Hall is included, where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony happens each year. You see modern architectural work in Akershus district, the opera house, and the new Munch Museum. If you're interested, ride the metro up to Holmenkollen. That evening you take an electric boat for 2.5 to 3 hours cruising past Oslo's skyline and through the calm Oslofjord dotted with islands and surrounded by green woods.

Departure from Oslo
After breakfast you depart Norway's capital. Walking from your hotel to Oslo Central Station, you take the Flytoget Airport Express independently to the airport. You head home with memories of the contrasts between Sweden's and Norway's landscapes, cities, and cultures.
