- Day 1
Arrival in Penang
You'll arrive in Penang and get transferred to your hotel by car. Once you check in after 2pm, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and soak in what Penang has to offer food-wise and otherwise.

Penang Hill & Kek Lok Si Temple
Take a private guided tour up Penang Hill on the funicular railway for views across the island. You can visit the Habitat or Owl Museum if you want to pay extra. From there, head to Kek Lok Si Temple, one of Malaysia's biggest Buddhist temples, where you can grab Penang Laksa for an added fee. The tour includes stops at local shops and runs either 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm.

Balik Pulau Cycling Tour
Start at 7:15am for a cycling tour through Balik Pulau. You'll ride about 2 hours through paddy fields, farms, fishing villages, and mangroves, then have a light breakfast around 10am. Stop at Audi Dream Farm to see how they farm, grab lunch on your own, then explore Balik Pulau town with fruit stalls or durian plantations if they're in season. Visit a Reclining Buddha Temple and Padang Kota for photos before heading back around 4pm.

George Town Heritage & Local Shopping
Walk through George Town's history starting at Chew Jetty, the stilt village with murals. See the Queen Victoria Clock Tower, Fort Cornwallis (photos outside), City Hall, Esplanade, and Logan Heritage building. Then check out the Street of Harmony with its church, temples, and mosque all near each other. Wander Armenian Street and Little India for street art, chocolate, and coffee shops before returning to your hotel. Tours run 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm.

George Town Heritage & Balik Pulau
Combine George Town heritage and Balik Pulau on a full-day tour. Start with Chew Jetty, the Clock Tower, Fort Cornwallis, City Hall, Esplanade, Logan Heritage, and State Museum (being renovated). Walk through Little India and Chinatown, visit a historic pastry shop with 160 years of tradition, then head to Snake Temple with de-venomed snakes. After lunch, explore Balik Pulau's old town, tropical fruit farm (seasonal, your cost), Nutmeg Factory, street art, and Batik Factory, returning around 4:30pm.

Departure from Penang
