Itinerary
- Day 1
Auckland
You'll arrive in Auckland and board the Scenic Eclipse II before 2:00 PM. The crew greets you with Champagne, and you'll meet the Captain after settling in. Once everyone's aboard, the yacht sets sail into the South Pacific, so you can expect to feel the ship moving out of Auckland Harbour by late afternoon.

Bay of Islands
The yacht anchors off Paihia in the Bay of Islands, where you have plenty of options for the day. You could join a Maori War Canoe tour, explore glowworm caves, take a lunch cruise, or head out on a 4-hour Bay cruise that includes swimming and snorkeling. There's also a Maori marae experience if you want something more in-depth. The area has about 150 islands scattered around, so the scenery from the water is really something.

Scenic Eclipse II
This is your chance to relax on the ship. Deck 10 has the Sky Bar and Vitality pool where you can cool off. Down on Deck 6, the Senses Spa offers steam rooms, saunas, a plunge pool, and salt therapy if you want to unwind. The Observation Terrace has Swarovski telescopes for looking out at the ocean, and you can grab coffee or a cocktail at any of the all-inclusive bars and lounges throughout the day.

Norfolk Island
You'll visit Norfolk Island, a remote spot between New Zealand and Australia with a complicated past. The landscape here is dramatic with tall pine trees and World Heritage ruins including St Barnabas Chapel. You can choose a guided tour around historic Kingston, visit local businesses behind the scenes, or go hiking. Mount Bates is worth the effort if you want coastal views from up high.

At Sea
Spend the day at sea with time to do whatever sounds good. The Azure Bar and Cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to grab a meal. All beverages are included. In the evening, you can either catch a show at the theatre or arrange for dinner in your suite with butler service and premium drinks.

Lifou
Lifou is the largest and highest of the Loyalty Islands, and you'll find coral atolls with dramatic cliffs to the north and long beaches on the south side. The Kanak culture here is rich, so your options range from exploring tropical forest and learning about vanilla harvesting to touring vanilla plantations or walking nature trails. There are also cultural history tours visiting churches and villages, plus forest adventures where you can see hidden caverns and watch Melanesian hunting demonstrations.

Tanna
As you approach Tanna, you'll see smoke rising from Mount Yasur, an active volcano that shoots sparks regularly. Locals welcome you with traditional performances including a women's choir and the Napam Npam dance. If you're interested, you can hike up the trails to the crater rim and look down into the volcanic crater itself, which is an incredible sight.

Port Denarau, Fiji
You'll reach Port Denarau on Fiji's main island, which serves as a gateway to some of the region's best islands and resorts. The marina here is busy and fun to walk around, with upscale shops and restaurants. Since the yacht stays overnight, you can enjoy a sunset cocktail at the Sky Bar. Activities available include visiting the South Sea Orchid Garden for tea service, exploring the marketplace, touring the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, a coffee plantation experience, 4WD highlands tours with a kava ceremony, golf, or half-day fishing.

Monuriki, Fiji
Monuriki is a small island in the Mamanucas with around 500 residents and famous from the movie Castaway. You'll have access to white sand beaches and clear turquoise water for swimming and snorkeling. Meet locals and participate in a kava ceremony and sasa welcoming dance, then watch cultural performances. Guided walks take you through the village and past the school, and you can explore local markets selling wooden carvings, shells, and jewelry. If the weather cooperates, the marina has complimentary equipment and guidance for water activities.

Lautoka, Fiji
Your journey ends in Lautoka, Fiji's second largest city on the western side of Viti Levu. After a final breakfast aboard, you'll say goodbye to the crew and fellow travelers. You'll depart for Nadi after 12:00 PM, heading home with plenty of memories from the past two weeks at sea.
