- Day 1
Tokyo
After landing at Narita or Haneda, you'll use your included Skyliner ticket to reach Tokyo Station with nice views along the way. From there, hop on the Tokyo Subway to get to your hotel in the city center. Once you've checked in and freshened up, the rest of your day is open for exploring nearby areas like Shinjuku's busy streets, Ginza's upscale shops, or Asakusa's historic temples.

Tokyo
You have two full days to wander through Tokyo at your own pace. Walk around different neighborhoods ranging from quiet temple gardens to the crowded energy of Shibuya. Check out well-known landmarks, peaceful nature spots, and all kinds of food that mix modern technology with traditional culture. It's a good chance to find smaller places most travelers miss while soaking in what makes the city feel both old and new.

Mt. Fuji and Hakone
Head out from your hotel at 8:00 AM for a full Mt. Fuji and Hakone day trip with an English-speaking driver. You'll travel via the Tomei Expressway through mountain scenery, stopping at Hakone Daikanzan viewpoint around 9:30 AM, then visit the Hakone Open Air Museum. After that comes Owakudani hot spring area, lunch at Gotemba Outlet Mall, and then either Lake Motosu or Lake Sai around 4:00 PM to catch Mt. Fuji reflections. You'll drive around the mountain and get back to Hakone between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.

Hakone to Kyoto
Travel from Hakone to Kyoto, taking in mountain views during the journey to reach one of Japan's best-preserved cities. When you arrive, your time is yours to use however you like. Wander through old temples, stroll down traditional streets, sit in peaceful gardens, or try the local food and see important cultural spots.

Spend a full day on a private guided tour using public transit to hit Kyoto and Nara's highlights. Start in Kyoto with the golden Kinkaku-ji temple, the historic Nijo Castle, and Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of red torii gates. Then move to Nara to walk through Nara Park where deer roam freely and visit the Todaiji Big Buddha Temple. Your guide can adjust things based on what interests you, with pickup and return from your hotel.
