Itinerary
- Day 1
Las Vegas
Land in Las Vegas and head to your hotel using the shuttle service. Once you're checked in and settled, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander. The Strip is right there if you want to walk around the casinos, or you can explore whatever catches your interest around the city. It's a good day to get oriented and shake off the travel.

- Day 2
Las Vegas to Grand Canyon Village
Leave Las Vegas early and drive into Arizona toward the Route 66 Museum in Kingman to get some historic context. Stop in Williams for lunch around midday, then head north to Grand Canyon National Park. You've got several options once you arrive: hike the South Kaibab Trail to Ooh Aah Point or Skeleton Point if you're up for it, take the shuttle to Hopi Point for views, or simply walk sections of the rim. End up in Grand Canyon Village for the night.

- Day 3
Grand Canyon Village to Winslow
Start the morning back in Grand Canyon National Park, heading along the rim toward the east entrance. Stop by Grandview Point and the Desert Watchtower to take in the views, then sit down for an authentic Navajo lunch at Cameron Trading Post, which has been around for a long time. After eating, you'll check out the archaeological sites at Wupatki National Monument, then drive through Sunset Crater to see a volcano that erupted less than 1,000 years ago. Settle in Winslow for the evening.

Winslow to Sedona
Spend the morning in Petrified Forest National Park, starting with the colorful landscape of the Painted Desert. Walk through a historic section of Route 66 there, then explore the petrified forests with their geological formations and trails. Grab lunch in Holbrook, then drive through the scenic Oak Creek Canyon on your way to Sedona, where you'll stay the night. The canyon drive itself is worth the time.

- Day 5
Sedona
This morning is yours to spend however you want. Sleep in if you need it, or get up early for a sunrise hike to Devil's Bridge, through Oak Creek Canyon, to Bell Rock, or to other formations around the area. Get back in time for breakfast at the hotel and take the rest of the morning at your own pace. Around 3pm, rejoin the group for an off-road jeep tour on the Broken Arrow Trail in a pink jeep, exploring Sedona's red rock landscape up close.

Sedona to Prescott
Head west from Sedona to Cottonwood and tour the Pueblo ruins at Tuzigoot National Monument along with its museum. Continue on to Jerome, a former mining town that's now home to artists and has good restaurants. Spend time walking around and learning about its history before lunch. After eating, drive over Mingus Mountain to Prescott, Arizona's first territorial capital, where you can see the historic governor's mansion and other important buildings around town.

- Day 7
Prescott to Las Vegas
Start with optional hiking or kayaking in Prescott's Granite Dells, with rocky peaks and a reservoir nearby. Head back to the hotel to clean up and check out, then drive to Seligman, a town that inspired the Pixar movie 'Radiator Springs.' Walk down the historic main street, then continue west on the original Route 66 over the mountain to Oatman, an 1880s mining town where wild burros hang out on the streets. From there, cross the Mojave Desert back to Las Vegas for your last night. The evening is free to do what you want.
