Itinerary

Guayaquil
Start your day at Parque Seminario where you'll find iguanas hanging in the trees and the Simón Bolívar statue standing in the center. From there, head to Plaza de la Administración to see the municipal buildings up close. After that, walk along Malecón 2000, the waterfront boardwalk running beside the Guayas River. You'll pass the Moorish Tower and La Rotonda monument as you stroll. By afternoon, make your way into Las Peñas, the historic neighborhood with colorful colonial architecture lining the streets. If you've got energy left, climb the 444 steps up Cerro Santa Ana for views across the city before heading back down as the sun gets lower.
