Itinerary
- Day 1
Paro to Thimphu
You'll land at Paro airport and transfer to Thimphu, where you're checking into Six Senses Thimphu for two nights. The lodge sits at 2,650 meters among apple orchards and pine forests, giving you views across Thimphu Valley toward the giant Buddha statue on the opposite side of the river.

- Day 2
Thimphu
Start with the Buddha Dordenma statue, then walk through the 12th-century Changangkha Lhakhang temple. After some shopping time, you'll head to Pangri Zampa Temple and Thimphu Dzong to see the architectural details. This evening includes a Royal Bhutanese Dinner back at the lodge.

- Day 3
Punakha
Early on you'll hike to the 17th-century Chorten Ningpo and the village of Khabasa, where you're visiting a school and orphanage. Then it's off to Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece positioned where two rivers meet. The afternoon is yours for meditating and relaxing at the lodge.

- Day 5
Phobjikha Valley to Bumthang
You're heading overland through dramatic landscapes with terraced fields and deep river valleys. Stop at Chendebji Chorten, then grab lunch in Trongsa, the original royal family home, where you can visit Trongsa Dzong and its museum. Drive over Ytong Pass to Bumthang and arrive at Six Senses Bumthang for a three-night stay.

- Days 8 - 9
Bumthang
Ride out to the 8th-century Kencho Sum Lhakhang, then visit Tamzhing Lhundrup Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's holiest monasteries, followed by the 8th-century Kurjey Lhakhang monastery. After a picnic by the river, you'll return for spa treatments and relaxation at the lodge.

Bumthang to Paro
You're flying for 45 minutes to Paro, then driving into town for a tour with tea and shopping time. Visit Dungtshe Lhakhang temple from 421, built in the form of a chorten. Check into Six Senses Paro for a two-night stay.
