- Day 1
Panama City
You'll arrive in Panama City and get settled at your hotel. After you drop off your bags, there's time to walk around the nearby shopping streets and check out some local restaurants and bars in the area.
- Day 2
Panama Canal Boat Trip
Head to the port this morning and board a boat for the 4-hour journey through the Panama Canal. You'll pass through the Miraflores locks, Lake Miraflores, Pedro Miguel lock, Gaillard Cut, and Lake Gatun. Lunch is served on board, and then you'll return to Panama City by bus.

Panama City Exploration
Take a guided tour of Panama City that covers historic Panama Viejo from the 16th century, the colonial architecture of Casco Antiguo, the Causeway with its skyline views, and the Miraflores locks visitor center where you can watch ships pass through the locks.

El Valle de Antón

Natá de los Caballeros and Parita
Travel west along the Panamericana to Natá de los Caballeros to see the impressive 16th-century colonial church. Continue to the village of Parita for a typical Panamanian lunch, then learn about traditional diablicos mask-making from local artisans and see how intricate polleras costumes are created.

Oria Arriba Village
Drive through scenic hills for about 1.5 hours to reach Oria Arriba in Los Santos province. You'll receive a warm welcome, watch locals make traditional hats and instruments, visit an operational sugar cane mill, and have a traditional lunch at a villager's home. End the day relaxing on a nearby Pacific beach.

Boquete Cloud Forest and Coffee
Walk across suspension bridges high in the treetops this morning for views of the cloud forest, waterfalls and lush vegetation. In the afternoon, visit a local coffee plantation to learn about how they grow, harvest and process coffee, then sample a freshly brewed cup.

Bocas del Toro via Oreba Chocolate Farm
Drive over the Cordillera de Talamanca for 3 to 3.5 hours and down to the Caribbean coast. At Almirante, meet your German-speaking guide and visit Oreba Chocolate Farm run by the indigenous Ngöbe community to learn about cocoa. Take a 30-minute boat to Isla Colón in Bocas del Toro archipelago.
