Catania
You'll arrive in Catania and get transferred to your hotel in the Taormina area. Check-in happens from 14:00 onward, so spend the rest of your afternoon getting the lay of the land and settling in.

Savoca
Your assistant meets you in the morning, then you head out by coach to Forza d'Agrò, a hilltop village with connections to the Godfather films. You'll see the cathedral where Michael Corleone's wedding scene was shot, then move on to Savoca to check out more filming spots like the famous Bar Vitelli before heading back to your hotel.

Ortigia
After breakfast, you'll travel by coach to Syracuse to explore one of Sicily's most significant archaeological sites. The day includes the archaeological park with its Roman amphitheater, Greek theater, the Ear of Dionysus cave, and Cordari Cave. Later you'll head to Ortigia island to walk through the old town and see the cathedral, which combines Doric and Baroque architecture, before returning to your hotel.

- Day 4
Aeolian Islands (Optional)
This day is yours to relax. If you've booked the optional excursion, you'll travel by coach to Milazzo port for a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands. You'll visit Lipari's old town and cathedral with shopping time, then cruise past the Faraglioni rocks and horse grotto to Vulcano, where there's an opportunity for a sulphur mud bath before heading back by boat.

Valley of the Temples (Optional)
You have a free day here. If you've selected the optional excursion to Agrigento, you'll visit the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy's most important archaeological locations. You'll explore well-preserved Doric temples dating back over 2,500 years, including the Temple of Concordia, Temple of Heracles, and Temple of Zeus, then return to your hotel.

- Day 6
Taormina Coast and Wine Tasting
An optional boat trip departs from Giardini Naxos port along the Taormina and Giardini Naxos coastline. You'll be on a traditional local boat with a maximum of 12 people, getting views of Mount Etna and exploring caves including the Blue Grotto (weather permitting), plus the Isola Bella nature reserve. In the evening, there's a wine tasting at Albatros Beach Hotel featuring 3 regional Etna wines paired with cold cuts, cheeses, bruschetta, and traditional dishes.

Mount Etna and Taormina (Optional)
You'll head out with your tour guide to Mount Etna, Europe's highest and most active volcano. The route takes you through the Etna Nature Park, one of Italy's largest reserves, with varied landscapes and vegetation. You'll reach the Silvestri craters at roughly 1,900m and sample local Sicilian food before returning to your hotel. An optional excursion to Taormina is available to explore medieval quarters, narrow alleyways, the 15th-century Palazzo Corvaja, and the ancient Greco-Roman theater.
