Whitehorse
You'll arrive in Whitehorse and meet your guide at the airport. From there, you're heading to your hotel to settle in for the night. This gives you a chance to rest up before the journey into the Arctic begins tomorrow.

Whitehorse to Inuvik
After breakfast, you'll catch a short flight north to Inuvik, where the western Arctic truly begins. This town sits at the heart of Inuvialuit country, and your guide will walk you through what to expect on the tour during an evening briefing.

Tuktoyaktuk
You're driving north on the newly built road to Tuktoyaktuk, a coastal village right on the Arctic Ocean. Along the way, you'll see pingos, those strange circular hills formed in permafrost, and learn about the First Nations people here. There's also a chance to try muktuk, the traditional whale meat and skin that locals eat.

Dempster Highway to Eagle Plains
Today's the big drive along the Dempster Highway, one of Canada's most remote roads. You'll pass through Fort McPherson and Tsiigehtchic, indigenous communities with deep roots here. Crossing the Arctic Circle gets a ceremony to mark the occasion, and you'll reach Eagle Plains by evening.

Eagle Plains to Dawson City
Heading south from Eagle Plains, the landscape opens up dramatically. Tombstone Territorial Park surrounds you with dark, jagged mountain peaks that dominate the horizon. By afternoon, you're rolling into Dawson City, the famous gold rush town from over a century ago.

- Day 6
Dawson City
You've got a full day in Dawson City exploring its 1898 gold rush roots. You can try panning for gold yourself, visit Bonanza Creek where fortunes were found, check out Jack London's cabin, and go through the Dawson City Museum. Climb Midnight Dome for views over the town, then head to Diamond Tooth Gertie's Casino for the evening.

Dawson City to Whitehorse
The drive back south on the Klondike Highway takes you through scenery along the Yukon River. You'll stop at Five Finger Rapids, a historic spot where river travelers once faced real danger. After arriving in Whitehorse, there's time to walk around town, and an optional dinner if you'd like.

Whitehorse Departure
Your morning's free to do what you want in Whitehorse. Stroll along the Yukon River, grab souvenirs from local shops, or just relax at your own pace. Then it's off to the airport for your departure or any extension you've arranged.
