Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin
You'll arrive in Dublin on your own. If your schedule allows, hop on a hop-on hop-off tour to take in Trinity College and the Guinness Storehouse at your pace. Later in the evening, head over to Temple Bar and spend some time soaking in the district's lively vibe. One night here in Dublin.

Dublin to Belfast
Train heads north to Belfast, roughly 2.5 hours. Once there, explore the city's maritime history. The Titanic Experience Museum is worth a visit if you're interested, showing you where the ship was built and launched in 1912. From there, walk to the nearby Titanic Docks. By evening, stop into the Crown Liquor Saloon, Belfast's oldest pub, then settle in for 2 nights.

Antrim Coast
This morning you'll head to the Antrim coast. See the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO site with those distinctive basalt columns everywhere. After that, stop by Dunluce Castle for photos, then continue to The Dark Hedges, a naturally formed tunnel of trees that photographs really well. You'll return to Belfast as the sun sets.

Belfast to Galway
Train takes you back to Dublin, about 2.5 hours, then you'll switch to the train heading for Galway (another 2.5 hours). During the journey, you get to relax and watch the Irish countryside roll by. If you prefer, grab the Luas streetcar from Connolly to Heuston Station to make your connection easier, roughly 30 minutes. You're staying 3 nights in the Galway area, within about 30 minutes of the city center.

- Day 5
Connemara
Day trip heads into Connemara. You'll travel through Leenane and reach Killary Harbour, which is Ireland's only fjord. Kylemore Abbey sits beautifully in the landscape, a 19th-century Benedictine monastery that's worth seeing. On the way back, pass through An Spidéal, a small village where locals still speak Gaelic daily. Return to Galway by evening.

Burren and Cliffs of Moher
Drive from Galway through the Burren region to Dunguaire Castle, a 500-year-old structure with quite a history. If caves interest you, Aillwee Cave offers guided tours through stalactite formations. Then move on to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's major attractions. Doolin, a quiet coastal town, is on your route back to Galway.

Galway to Dublin
Train back to Dublin takes about 2.5 hours. Depending on your departure time, you'll have a chance to walk around Dublin and see things on your own terms. Some people finish their trip with a pint of Guinness before heading home. One final night in Dublin.
