Itinerary
- Day 1
Johannesburg
You'll touch down at Johannesburg Airport and get transferred to your hotel. From there, settle in and get comfortable for your first night in the city.
- Day 2
Johannesburg to Greater Kruger National Park
Meet up with your Drifters Guide early at 7 am and head northeast through Mpumalanga province. The drive takes you through varied landscapes and mountain passes, covering about 530 km. You'll stop in Haenertsburg for lunch (on your own), then continue on to your tented bush lodge in the Greater Kruger area.

Greater Kruger National Park
Start the day with coffee and cookies before heading out on a morning game drive with a ranger tracking animals across the bushveld. After brunch, you'll have downtime at the lodge during the hot afternoon hours. Later you'll go out again for an evening game drive, complete with a sundowner as the sun sets over the African landscape.

Greater Kruger National Park to Hazyview
After breakfast, you'll travel along the Panorama Route and stop at Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes, and God's Window to take in the views. By afternoon you reach Hazyview, the gateway to Kruger National Park, where your lodge sits in a forest along the Sabie River. You'll have time for guided forest walks here. The drive covers roughly 195 km.

Kruger National Park Full Day Game Viewing
An early start gets you into an Adventure Truck for a full day exploring Kruger National Park. You'll bring a packed breakfast box from the lodge and have your guide point out the park's plants and wildlife as you go, with chances to spot the Big Five if you're lucky. Lunch happens at one of the rest camps on your own tab, and you'll return to the Hazyview lodge for dinner. The day covers approximately 160 km.

Hazyview to Johannesburg
You'll head back toward Johannesburg along the Gold Rush Route, covering about 430 km. The drive wraps up with arrival at the airport in the early evening around 5 pm, bringing your tour to a close.
