Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik International Airport and take a transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik, which is about 50 km away and takes roughly 45 minutes. Once there, you'll have time to settle in and get comfortable at your accommodation for the next four nights.

Golden Circle & Northern Lights
An 8-hour excursion takes you to Fridheimar Greenhouse Cultivation Center first, where you'll learn how geothermal heating has been powering the operation since 1924. From there, you head to the geothermal geyser area to see Strokkur erupt every 5-7 minutes, then move on to Gullfoss waterfall dropping into a deep canyon. You'll walk through the continental plate faults at Thingvellir National Park before heading out around 9-10 p.m. for a Northern Lights search in the Arctic night, returning after about 4 hours.

Reykjavik
Today you explore Reykjavik at your own pace. Start around the small city lake Tjörnin, pop into Town Hall to see the relief model of Iceland, walk past the Icelandic Parliament, and check out Hallgrímskirkja Church with its distinctive architecture inspired by Svartifoss waterfall. Later, grab a snack at the famous Baejarins Beztu hot dog stand, which Bill Clinton has actually eaten at.

Reykjavik
You have a free day to wander Reykjavik further, or you can book optional activities like glacier hiking at Solheimajökull with expert guides, exploring lava tunnels followed by time at the Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon thermal pools, whale watching in Faxaflói Bay with visits to the Whales of Iceland and Perlan exhibitions, or combining both Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon for relaxation.
