Ferrol to Neda
Start the first stage of your trail today, a relatively short and flat walk of about 15 km. The route runs mostly through urban areas alongside the Mundung river, so you won't deal with major climbs or technical sections.

- Day 3
Neda to Mino
Head through Fene toward Pontedeume, where you'll come across As Fragas do Eume, an Atlantic forest with significant ecological importance. The path stays near main roads with gentle hills as you move from the Ferrol mouth to the Ares mouth, finishing up in Mino.

Mino to Betanzos
This is a short stage, just a few kilometers through rural terrain. The main effort comes from climbing up from Ponte do Porco to Montecelo. By the end of the day you'll reach Betanzos, a medieval town known for its local omelette specialty.

Betanzos to Bruma
Today brings the toughest section of your trail. You'll leave the towns behind and move into nature, walking through forests and shrubs across steep terrain and small villages on your way to Meson do Vento and then to Bruma. Don't expect many services along this stretch.

Bruma to Sigueiro
After yesterday's tough hiking, this stage feels more manageable with mostly flat terrain. You'll walk roughly 24 km on a mix of asphalt and dirt roads heading toward Sigueiro.

- Day 7
Sigueiro to Santiago de Compostela
The final day of your pilgrimage arrives. As you get closer to Santiago, you'll notice more pilgrims on the trail. You enter the cathedral through the ornate Portico de la Gloria to complete your journey. Starting early helps so you can join the pilgrims' mass at noon.

Spend the full day on foot exploring Santiago de Compostela at your own pace. A guided walk through the old town (about 1 hour) comes included, along with a cheese tasting at a local tavern featuring typical Galician varieties. Stop by the pilgrim's office to get your 'Compostela' certificate.
